Ease of Use : 7
Well, it now needs some delicate tweaking to get it to work properly. And there?s five switches that can be used alone, or in combination with other switches and pots. That?s a lot of settings to remember. I personally don't mind... That's what I wanted! Here's a pic of it: http://www.effector13.com/gallery/ (scrool down)The mod adds five switches: the one on the side turns the theremin eye on, and from left to right, you have increased gain, some weird gated gain sound that only works properly when the colour knob is on distortion and an increased highs switch (my favourite mode, since it's the most useful).

Sound Quality : 10
My current set up: 2001 Rickenbacker 330/1981 Gibson The Paul Deluxe/1966 Harmony H-19 Silhouette --> Ernie Ball Volume --> True Bypass Vox 847 --> Boss TU-2 -->Vox Valvetone --> Effector 13 mod Boss OS-2 --> Akai Intelliphase -->Boss DD-3 --> Akai Headrush --> Mid seventies Ampeg VT-22 (2x12" eminence speakers) or 1965 Traynor YBA-1 Bassmaster head into sixties Sunn 2x12" cab

Is it noisy? You bet it's noisy! It's my noise box! It feedbacks, self-modulates, tweets and chirps. I can make it sound like R2D2 on certain settings! It does fuzz, broken speaker sounds, weird Ham Radio static, high pitched squelches... By simultaneously turning the theremin eye switch and the high gain switch and then twisting the volume pot, I can get it to do pitch shifting noises.

Reliability : No Opinion
No idea how reliable it will be, it's a mod, and I haven't used it for long... It used to be a boss pedal, and those are pretty reliable. It will probably last a long time.

Customer Support : 10
Tim is a very cool guy, friendly and very serviceable. I'm sure he will stand by his product.

Overall Rating : 10
I ove it! However, it's not for everyone. It feedbacks like crazy on certain modes, and you better put either a volume pedal or a noise gate after it. I can't make the theremin eye work properly (Maybe it's too dark in my practice space), but I don't care. By using its switch and the other switches and twisting on knobs, I can extract some crazy sounds out of it. A great box for the experimentaly minded guitar player. It din't cost me a penny (I only paid for shipping): I was using the OS-2 has a paper weight, so I asked Tim if he would be interested in messing around with it. I told him he could do whatever he wanted to it. The results were much better than I expected!
