Just plug and play! No knobs, but who needs them? The Effector 13 Krackle Fuzz is true bypass so it DOSN'T SUCK TONE!!!!

My rig is a schector oman-6 guitar through a fender rock pro 1000 half stack. My main pedals are a digitech PDS 20/20, zoom chior, effector 13 true bypass box, zoom driver, effector 13 krackle fuzz, boss sd-1, and a crybaby.
With the Krackle fuzz I can get some of the sickest fuzz tones ala Nine Inch Nails. I mainly use the Krackle fuzz as a solo effect when I want the wayyyy over the top fuzz. It works really well with recording and suprisingly enough keyboards. My only complaint is that you need to have a booster to get its volume to cut through

Very dependable. I have been stomping it hard for over 3 months! I gig all the time and I know I won't need a backup.

Tim of Effector 13 has been really great with helping me get what I need. He was also nice enough to build me a custom true bypass box. He is a real pleasure to work with. I highly recomend him and his products. I would give him a 11 if I could!

Overall I give it a 9. If you didn't have to boost it to cut through I would definalt give it a 10. This is by far the sickest, most unique fuzz. And the customer support is second to none...especially in the world of asshole "boteque" fuzz builders.

I would say it's easy, because it only has a footswitch, but this little bugger is a bastard, as it really effects the overall sound of the your effects chain when on... as in it usually cuts the volume by half unless you're using some sort of boost after it. Hey, Tim! Make a Krackle Fuzz with Boost god damnit...

This thing is great if you love crazy psychadelic fuzz, but horrible if you enjoy anything regarding your original guitar's tone. I love it because gives me the feeling of being in the 70's, but that's just me... I'm a dork.

Case it kind ghetto (tim, the maker) said he's going to start releaseing them in Hammond cases... so it's all good..

Tim's a great guy. Goes out of his way to make things right, though he is kind of slow (but slow can be fast in the world of boutique effects, so he's actually pretty quick about getting back to you and fixing things).... yeah... I'd give 'em a 10
