One level knob, one on/off switch, one LED.
Who wouldn't get this?

These days, I play a Hamer T-51 - a Telecaster clone - through a volume pedal, the Punch Love, an MXR 6-band EQ (sometimes) and an American Big Muff, into an Ampeg V7 half-stack.
I had an MXR distortion in my effect chain, but ditched it when I got the Punch Love. This is a neat little tone box for tube amps. It pushes very little bass, but boosts mids and trebles to make my amp cut through the rest of the band when I need it the most. It's silent when off, sounds clear and powerful when on. It doesn't boost like MoFo, just gives you an edge and adds a touch of drive.
Could also be used for volume drops with the level knob turned down, if you were so inclined.
Reliability

No Opinion
I won't give a score since I haven't owned it for very long. I can however say that it looks like it's built to last, at least as well-built as the MXR pedals I have owned. Its design is simple and smart.

Tim "Ever Was"'s dedication to service and to customer's happiness is unlike anything I had seen before. Once you've dealt with him, you'll wish every company on earth offered that kind of service.

I play noisy, moody rock, but this pedal would be good for any kind of guitar music. The Punch Love is a very simple effect. It does one thing and does it well. Bottom line is if you own a tube amp, especially an old one with only one or two channel or no master volume, you should get a clean boost.
And if you're going to get one, might as well make it a Punch Love. A lot of boutique clean boosts go for twice the price on eBay, and most of them do not offer anything more than what the Punch Love provides. I feel I made a pretty wise investment in tone.
