This pedal has two knobs: voume and intensity. It is really easy to figure out the entire range of the pedal in under an hour. I found it to be slightly temperamental in trying to find a sweet spot for my ear.

First off, this pedal is extremely loud. I usually put my over the top distortion and fuzz pedals after my volume pedal, but with this Effector 13 it had to stay before the Ernie Ball. I was amazed by the range of the fuzz. At low intensity I can get notes that sound like the pedal is dying, and tweaking the pedal slightly more I get very nice bass rich sustain. I have also been to push it way up and get some very distorted harmonic noise. The only downside to this pedal, however, is that it overtakes everything else in my rig, so I tend never to use it in combination with my other pedals.
Also, this pedal has true bypass, which I think should go without saying for all good pedals.

I cannot imagine this thing breaking, and I would easily gig with it. Time will tell.

From what I've heard, Effector 13 is a great company to deal with if you experience problems, and their boutique pedals are quite affordable.

This pedal will probably remain off most of the time on stage and in the studio. I generally play jazz and experimental with somme rock, but I do open up with the pedals quite a bit. I am really blown away by the sound of this thing. When I need to get a really thick bass heavy fuzz drone, I just turn this on (and lower my volume pedal). If I need some over the top noise, I just crank it up. This is one hell of a fuzz pedal.
