You can get so many good sounds out of this so easily it will make you feel like someone slipped you some spiked kool-aid. Has Delay Level, Feedback, Time and 3 way Range dial (S,M,L).

Sound Quality : 9
This pedal is very good. No don't get me wrong, it is not some kind of Captain Coconut or anything, but it can do the job that many rackmount delays wish they could achieve. It is very versatile and quiet (with proper pedal power system, of course).

It has bell-like tones, you can control the feedback for awesome "wall of sound" effects in combination with other modulation pedals and an overdrive/distortion. The mode switch allows you to essentially make this a chorus effect if you want/need to.

I don't feel like retyping my entire setup again, but at least I will say that I am using a Washburn WI-64 idol Custom and a Mesa/Boogie DC-3 and this pedal fufills my Delay needs. Excellent bang for the buck (if you can find one).

Reliability : 6
The casing is cheap plastic, the battery cover is broken (it is taped on and I don't use it.) If this was in a bombproof casing, it would be selling for a lot more. The casing is the weakness, and the footswitch is dodgy as well. Not to mention it is somewhat ugly and 80's retro. Don't let that stop you!

There is no such thing as support for this pedal, unless you have a friendly neighborhood effects wizard to help you. Epiphone barely acknowledges the existence of this GAS pedal line.

Overall Rating : 10
I would not sell this pedal, period. If I were to get rid of it, I would give it to an up and coming guitarist. If someone stole it, then they got a screaming deal. Buy one and you can easily nail "One Of These Days" in combination with a decent flanger and overdrive (assuming, of course, that you can play :-} ).

It is WAY too good of an effect to sell for a measly 20-40 dollars. I had a touring musician friend of mine (no name dropping) come and check out my rig and all they cared about was "man, where did you get this thing, can you get me one of these on ebay?". He didn't care about the boutique stuff I have, just this funky old delay pedal....HA!

This thing takes about 5 minutes to get used to. It sounds similar (if a little better) than the new Digitech Digital Delays, it just doesn't have all the bells and whistles of those pedals, and the delay is not as long.

Sound Quality : 9
Fantastic. Very Bell-Like. The exact digital delay sound I was looking for. Sounds fantastic through my Prosonic and american strat. Also works well with the rest of my pedals. The only problem i have is that on certain settings it constantly repeats every note you play - forever. This drives me crazy, they should have put in a way to start a repeat, and while the repeat is playing you could play over top of it - without all of your following notes being repeated. They didn't do that and this is why this pedal gets a 9.

Reliability : 8
It seems to be built much like a Boss pedal. It is sturdy, but the battery compartment is broken. Oh well.

Ha...Epiphone doesn't even claim these pedals anymore. Epiphone has nothing about them on their website and I couldn't even find mention of this pedal using google! Truly a rare find, but I will pay the price if I have any problems.

I have been playing for 8 years now and just started to get into using effects again. I use this pedal between my Fender prosonic and fender am. strat. I also use a DOD FX-50B for fuzz, a Marshall Jackhammer for the british sounds, a danelectro cool cat because it is a killer chorus, and a ibanez trem pedal. The epiphone is placed last on the setup. I tested tons of digital delays, including the best offerings from Boss and Digitech, and was dissappointed. I saw this pedal on e-bay, and since it was going for such a low price, i figured I couldn't go wrong and bid on it. Honestly, this is the most fantastic sounding digital delay I have ever heard. It definatly sounds better than even a boss DD-5, however it doesn't have all the bells and whistles of these pedals, but for overall value, it was a steal at $37.
