Ease of Use

Easy to use - plug in, turn the volume up, and listen.
Sound Quality
:
No Opinion
The sound quality is good, but I don't really have any basis of comparison to other monitors. Therefore I will not rate the sound. I'm able to get better mixes using these than I could using headphones.
Reliability

After 10 months or so, one monitor started distorting and losing volume. These monitors were not pushed hard, and were not used for long periods at a time. They were under warranty - they said it had a bad capacitor, so they replaced the entire amp board. 5 days after my 1-year warranty expired, the other monitor showed the same symptoms. Customer service was nice and repaired that one under warranty also.
Now, almost one year after my second monitor was repaired, one of the monitors is crapping out in the same fashion. I may attempt to replace the capacitors myself, since they quoted me a price of $65 for a new amp circuit. Since the amp only lasts about a year, that cost adds up.

Customer service was very friendly and helpful. They repaired one of my monitors even though it failed 5 days after the one year warranty was up.

These monitors sound just fine... I don't regret purchasing them for that reason... but the reliability leaves much to be desired. After the first round of repairs I considered selling them on ebay, but my conscience wouldn't let me. I was afraid they'd just die on whoever bought them, and I would have been right. See - not everyone on ebay is a crook!
