one switch, no knobs. simply mutes the signal and sends it to my tuner. mentioned in email that he would design one similar to the one Eric Johnson uses.

it sounds good because it does nothing to the sound... plus he threw in a blue LED light that looks really sharp. works great.

amazing, that's all i have to say. i was inquiring about a post on harmony central about an a/b box, turned out it was already gone but justin told me he could do whatever i needed... and still stay in my budget!!! custom made for under $100. can't say enough about him and his work.

J. Everman works with you to make the pedal exactly to your specifications. There's a continual cycle of feedback on what switches and LEDs you want, what size housing, placement of the input and output jacks, etc. I also wanted AC adapters that bypassed the battery when the AC jack was in use; no problem.

I use this with a pedalboard: Fulltone CLYDE, Fulldrive-2, custom octave unit (based on a ring modulator circuit), Boss CE-2 chorus, Way Huge Analog delay. Suhr Classic, various amps (Roland JC-77 or -120; Mesa Mark I, .22+ or DC-5; Fender BF Pro Reverb). The entire pedalboard is dead quiet, and the A/B is as well.

No Opinion
I opened it up, and it's very well made. Still, I bought two units just in case. As it is new, I have to say I've got no informed opinion about reliability. I do not EXPECT and problems...

J.Everman has been great to work with. He communicates at all stages of the design process, advises you of any bumps (the battery-off AC adapters I wanted took him an extra day or two to get--no problem), and sincerely wants you to be happy with what he's got.

I use the A/B to quickly change signal paths when multi-amping. I play funky-inspired jazzy rock (whatever the heck you imagine that sounds like), and use the pedalboard to add subtle changes to the sound. The A/B is perfect for me. I'd definitely replace it with another if the two I had were lost/stolen. It's at the high end, price wise, but considering how J.Everman works with you, it's a great deal in my opinion.
