Ease of Use : 10
This is a metal box for switching between channels on your amp. It is about the size of an MXR box. One switch with LED. No manual needed. This is as easy as it gets. The LED is really bright. I haven't used it for a daytime gig yet, but it is so bright that I do not forsee any problem seeing the LED in daylight.

Sound Quality : 10
I use the pedal (switch) on my Carr Slant 6V. I plug a McInturff Zodiac, Taurus, FLE or Hamer Artist Mahogany straight into the amp. The amp has the footswitch mod. You use a guitar cable to plug into the pedal and amp which is nice. You can use whatever length cable you need. Obviously, the pedal has no influence on the signal at all. When you switch from on channel to the other it is perfectly quiet. Just what you want.

Reliability : 10
The switch that came with the amp quit working the second time I used it. Since I received this piece for Jason I have used it for rehearsals, jams and in my house. I've used it like I would use it onstage, stomping it often and it has worked like a charm every time it touched it. I will gig without a backup. It is sturdy. The rubber feet on it are about 3/4" in diameter and 1/8" thick. They are glued on tight. I tried to rub them off and couldn't curl an edge up at all. The battery clips tightly onto the removeable bottom of the unit and the battery clips onto the contacts tight also.

Customer Support : 10
Jason has answered every email I've sent very quickly, usually same day. He let me know when he was closing his shop for vacation days well ahead of time. I can only assume that if I had a problem he would be at least as accessible as he has been until now.

Overall Rating : 10
This unit would work for anyone who wanted a channel switch that they would not have to worry about. Ray Charles could see the LED on the unit. The access to the battery is with 4 phillips head screws which I consider a plus. If you don't carry a few tools in your gig bag you are crazy. An excellent choice for someone who wants a quality piece of equipment they can forget about once they are onstage.
