Ease of Use : 10
It's super easy to dial in exactly what you need from a slight shimmer to fluttering chorus. The level, rate, and depth features are standard, plus it has high and low filter knobs to EQ it a bit. Quite simple to use.

Sound Quality : 10
This sounds perfect. It is true bypass, and silent even when clicked on; it only sounds when I hit the strings. I'm playing a '52 Telecaster reissue through a Fender Blues Deville 4x10 tube amp. I've also used this pedal with a Gibson Es-175 (through a PA) and with several acoustics. It works perfectly with all of them. I've owned many of the standard chorus pedals over the years (Boss, DOD, MXR, Electro-Harmonix) and I like the sound of this just as well as the best of that list. What a bargain!

Reliability : 10
This is built like a tank, which is hard to believe considering the low cost and Best-Buy/Target origins. It's heavy, metal, substantial, and dependable. And I don't baby my gear. I throw this thing into a big bag full of pedals, slides, cables, harmonicas, etc. She holds up to abuse. I have a DOD Chorus as a backup, but i haven't had to use it.

No experience with Fender's CS for pedals. Great CS for guitars and amps.

Overall Rating : 10
Overall, this is a great bargain. It's the most bang for the buck I've seen for a pedal in a long time. I play in a variety of bands, include blues, country, and pop covers. This pedal sounds great in every circumstance (when used appropriately to the song, of course). Gigged with it yesterday for "Time after time" by Cindy Lauper and some Police covers. I'd certainly replace this pedal if it walked off.

This Chorus pedal is as simple as it gets.

Sound Quality : 9
With my Epiphone Slasher, this pedal sounds great, especially when you keep all the settings between 3 and 5. It gives you the weirdest aura of sound...

This pedal doesn't whack out the tone without the pedal too, which is great.

Reliability : 9
Always has worked, for about 6 months. Nothing wrong with it at all.

Great pedal with amazing tonal range. For the alternative rock I play, it isn't necessarily the most applicable, but when I do use it, it always sounds great.

Basic chorus controls with high/low filters

Sound Quality : 8
This chorus is actually an analog version of the Boss CE-5 chorus ensemle. Same controls only in a different knob layout than the Boss. I have both pedals, and if you set all the knobs to the same positions the sound is virtually the same. The Starcaster has a warmer sound than the digital CE-5,but again, they are very close.

So far no problem, but who knows how these things are going to hold up.

This pedal is a great value based on sound alone. It seems pretty solidly put together, but again, the reliability of these is an unknown factor. If you like the sound of the Boss CE-5 but want to save some money I'd say go for this. I plan on selling or trading my Boss as I just think this sounds a little better.
