I have the Treble booster and the Mayhem.
Simple. Simple. Simple.

Guild BM pro, Strat w/Tri-Sonics, '67 SG jr. thru a tiny Marshall Lead 12. The sound was absolutely huge and the clarity amazing.

Reliability : 10
These things are built to last forever. Meticulous attention to detail
and quality. There no finer pedals that I have ever encountered.

Greg Fryer is a gentleman. Great communication with me. Called me to follow up to make sure I was satisfied. I would do buisness with him again in a second.
I am thinking about getting The Ringmaster. I also bought some pots and knobs from him.

Overall Rating : 10
I wouldn't compare these pedals to any other similar type because there is nothing out there like these pedals. Notjing sounds as good as the Fryer's and nothing is built as good as the Fryer's.

This pedal is used to give the sound of a Vox AC 30 at full volume. It is fairly easy to use. There are 3 controls: output, tone, and gain. Greg provides a handwritten sheet of suggested settings that provide a great starting point.

Sound Quality : 10
My setup is a custom made Brian May guitar > Fryer Treble Booster > Fryer Mayhem distortion, Boss CE 1 chorus, H & K Replex delay > Vox AC30TBX amp. This pedal provides a wide array of sounds. When you dial the output low and the gain high, you get a nice oversaturated sound similar to the "Deacy amp" that Brian May uses to great effect. If you back off on the gain and jack up the output, you start to move into overdriven AC30 territory. The gain is warm and responsive and when used with the Fryer Treble Booster, offers very clear sounding distortion and sustain that lasts all day. This pedal is a lifesaver because it would be impossible for me to run my AC30 at a volume of 10 (like Brian May does). I can get an awesome tone at a much more reasonable volume level.

Reliability : 10
Built like a tank. I may purchase another to add to my rig so that I can have a few different overdrive options at my feet.

I would gig without a backup.

Greg Fryer is great to speak to. He lives in Australlia, so you'll have to work out the time difference, but when he is in his office, he is always willing to answer any question.

Overall Rating : 10
I am looking for a nice distorted tone that offers the clarity that Brian May is famous for. I have the benefit of using these new pedals that Greg developed with input from Brian May. That alone may be reason for some to purchase this pedal, but the tone that it produces is phenomenal. Greg has built a real winner. This pedal offers amazing flexibilty and can deliver great tone whether you are looking for all-out saturation or more of a slightly overdriven sound. IT ROCKS!!! I can't say enough about this pedal.

If it were lost, I would replace it in an instant.
