This is easy as pie. Plug in. Step on it. Short 3 page insert as owners manual. Gives background on R&D Michael did on Vox Wahs.

Sound Quality : 10
This is the best sounding wah going IMHO. I tried the Teese RMC, Budda, all the flavors of the Dunlop & Vox reissues (I owned a Vox for 3 years, had 2 or 3 Dunlops over the years), and the Morley stuff. The smoothest sounding wah I have ever heard. Has a silent on/off switch and true bypass. Voiced to sound like original Vox's, trim pot inside gives much variation to work with. Michael Fuller personally tests all units and marks what he feels is the sweet spot. Nice touch. The range of the sound is much wider than with competing units, the treadle throw is much wider. Smooth sounding is the best description I can come up with.

Reliability : 10
Fuller had a new housing designed and created to house unit, it is heavy duty. I do gig without backup and haven't thought twice about it.

Have called Michael Fuller on numerous occasions, he always answers. He seems distracted sometimes, but always takes care to answer questions and offer suggestions. Very responsive to email too.

I play rock/alternative/funk/blues/folk/jazz in an original rock band. I use wah for quite a few things. From the "shaft" type of playing to just generating leslie sounding stuff, this pedal nailed it. I play PRS --> Rivera amps and this wah fits perfect. The true bypass is so nice live, tone is good with pedal on and with pedal off. If I ever had it ripped off or lost, I'd run screaming to the nearest dealer and get one. I will never need another wah, unless I wear this one out. It is hand built using heavy duty construction, so I do not anticipate that ever happening. I usually got 3-5 years from Dunlop wahs in the past. The pot in this wah is rated for 150% more turns, so that should last me a good long time. With Fulltone's customer service and the quality he put in this pedal, I checked out other Fulltone pedals. I now have a Deja Vibe and a Supa Trem. I also have a custom pedalboard/roadcase and power supply coming from Fulltone. Major vote of confidence from me.

Simple, one knob on the inside controls, gain and bass response. The treadle is adjustable so if you like the action light or heavy you can adjust it.

Sound Quality : 10
I've finally found a wah that I like, I've tried the dunlop 535, Vox reissue, Morley, Kern Tube Wah, Snarling dogs whine-o-wah, and even the Teese Real McCoy and the I liked the Fulltone the best. Has the most vocal sound out of all the others in my opinion.

Reliability : No Opinion
Haven't had it long enough to comment but the inside is THE cleanest looking interior of a wah I have ever seen. The chassis is not like other wahs, this is a steel box which appears very sturdy.

Customer Support : 10
Mike always takes the time to talk to customers on the phone. Great service.

Yea, I'd buy it again, I've searched long and hard for a wah I like and this is it. The only issue would be the cost, at $265 it is one of the most expensive wah's out there.

Ease of use...Come on, it's a Wah pedal! Ready to Wah right out of the box. The Clyde comes with a well written and very informative 2 page info./instruction pages. You will know a lot more about what goes on inside of a wah pedal when you read them. The unit sounded good right away. Micahel Fuller sets the adjustable gain trimmer at the factory to his liking and it ended up being fairly close to the setting I ended up with.

Sound Quality : 10
Using a Strat into a Fender Twin with the Clyde and a Fulldrive2. (amongst other goodies..) To be honest, the Clyde sounded nice the first few times I played through it but I did not fully grasp how good it sounded until I compared it side by side with my 2 Crybaby Wahs. My ear was so trained to hear the Crybaby's sound that I did not fully pick up the Clyde's difference unitl I had them together. Then it became obvious how much better the Clyde sounded. The Clyde has much more of a tonal range and can produce a much more pronounced "Wah" sound. This might be due in part to the Clyde's larger pedal sweep. The treadle (the part your foot rests on..) has a much larger travel range than other Wahs I have owned and played. This seems to contribute to the greater tonal spectrum. The internal adjustable trimmer, which can be used to make minor gain adjustments, was easily accessed. The high end of the gain selection tended to add a bit of distortion to my clean Wah sound when I would used a heavy pick attack so I simply found the setting that allowed the most gain with no breakup. Can you achieve the classic Wah sound of "Rainy day, Dream Away" and "Soul to Soul"? - Put simply - If you can deliver your end of the bargain the Clyde can deliver the sound!

Reliability : 10
The Clyde looks to be built every bit as well as all the Fulltone products. Solid construction with a cool look. Would gig without a back up.

Customer Support : 10
The pedal made a strange clicking noise halfway thru the sweep. I thought I was hearing things until my wife asked if it was supposed to make that sound. I Emailed Mike and he suggested I try a few things. When that did not help he asked me to send it to him at his expense. He called me and of course the pedal stopped clicking at his house! Michael went ahead and replaced the part that would have the greatest chance of causing the mystery click and sent it right back. His service and limited lifetime warranty are among the best in the business! The pedal stopped the clicking and has worked great ever since.

Overall Rating : 10
Overall - if you are hunting for the classic Wah sound it's here! The Clyde sounds great and is a well thought out pedal. Damn near everything that could be adjustable is. It's certainly not an inexpensive purchase, but the "best" seldom is. The superior sound and Michael Fuller's service make a hard to beat combination. I highly recommend this pedal.

This is the best sounding wah wah you have ever heard. It's very vocal and clear.

Sound Quality : 10
this is what all the other wah wahs' wish they could be. It even puts the orginal Vox Clyde McCoy to shame(or to rest). You cannot get a bad sound outa this

Reliability : 10
It's a Fulltone.......needless to say it's bullit proof in a much better housing than the dunlop stuff. You can also adjust the pedal tension. If you dropped this off a ten story building it would still work. It's also low profile like the old Voxes and Supa-Wah(Marshall made)

What can I say.......It's the best wah wah I ever heard or played. It really put all the others to shame, even my old Vox and my reissue(modded)Vox. You will never ever hear or use a better wah period. Very musical, vocal and inspiring.
