Easy. Install it in a rack and plug your gear in. One flip of the switch and everything powers up. Love the rack-lights. I changed the color on em for looks. I also bought this particular model for looks. I mean really. A voltmeter is pretty useless. What are you going to do? Go outside, climb a lightpole, and change a transformer just before a gig because the line voltage is too low? I bought the model with the voltmeter for the looks and I don't regret the decision.

Awesome. Got a brand new tube amp that had alot of hum. Thought the amp was defective but later found that tube amps were more susceptible to hum and interference than SS amps. I also found that the hum coming out of my amp was the same pitch as the hum coming from the flourescent light above my head. I bought a Furman and never had any problems since. I've combined this with a noise gate so now my setup is silent as death until I play.

Solid steel chassis. I like steel. It's in a rolling rack that is not shock proof, has been to several gigs, and the Furman hasn't failed yet.

It needs a light in the rear so you can see what's back there. That's the only thing it's missing
