Plug and play. Pretty simple, but what it does for your sound CLARITY is way more than anything other than changing guitar or amp could do to improve it.

This thing does EXACTLY what the add says. It just makes it all crystal clear. The depth is deeper, the mids are in yer face, the highs are crisper. Solid state amps sound punchier, and tubes are warmer.

Almost 4 years of constant weekend gigs, and NO ISSUES WHATSOEVER. It's the one thing I have that has NEVER stopped working perfectly from day one. I don't think it will ever break. It's built like a tank. Don't need a backup, but I would like to get another one to plug more stuff into.

Heard good things, but if a company makes a truly great product of this type, then you never have to call them. I would consider that to be the best customer support- not needing it.

I use this on my ROCK band's weekend gigs. I plug my Soldano Decatone, effects, and PA into it. $349 bucks is a lot, but you could spend much more on other crap and not help your sound as much. I consider this a MUST and won't play without it. I will always have one. This and a good buffer, such as the VHT valvulator, are the two best ways to get that CLARITY that you hear from the Pros. Get these two items, then get the cheesy pedals. Without good power and a strong signal, pedals are junk.

I run a digital board, 2 powered subs, and 2 guitar amps/pedalboard off 2 PFPro Rack units. It has made a tremendous improvement in the clarity, punch and bass response of the PA. This is not just my opinion but others in the audience who don't know sound, they just hear a noticable difference in the sound and have commented on it.

Excellent! Called Furman and explained my needs, they recommended the PFPro's and I'm glad I listened.

This has got to be a 10 because it really has made a very noticable and nice improvement to our sound. I never would have thought providing amps with the proper wattage along with filtering would make such a difference but it did with my setup. Even the guitar amps seem clearer and punchier but the the big difference has been with the PA... definitely would buy again!!!

Super simple just plug it in and plug into it. Remember dont plug intothis and then plug some of your stuff into the wall. Plug everything into this that includes effects wall warts and the lot or you wont get all the benefits in your system.

Good product I live in a regular residencial area and the power is BAD very BAD Im talking I get radio stations on all my audio gear BAD. I Love this thing it corrects my ununiform wall powerproblems and clears up the radio problems too. I wouldnt risk my gear pluged into anything but this. a couple hundred is a good price to safe guard many thousands of dollars worth of audio gear. Just remember dont over tax the unit it has 4 plugs in the back and you shouldnt plug mutiple things into each one and if you must then plug the heavy stuff into its own plug for example amps and the lot and use a plug with a good power strip for your two effects wallwarts or something light like that this unit can handle a lot as it has a 45 amp peak current resevour but lets not get crazy if you are powering a home studio then get one of these for every 5 or 6 things you need to plug in or something like that and try not to overload it at all if you can its just a good idea. I plug 3 amps and an effects strip into mine and usualy I dont use all of the amps at the same time and they are not super power 100W monsters they total 115 wats for all 3 a 60 a 35 and a 20 and the effects are just two wall warts. OK so im pushing it too but hey it has performed great so far and this thing is safe so I am not worried.
Great power kills the radio stuff( not a miracle machine but good ) and safe on equipment a winner.

Good product I know its hard to spend this cash on someting that isnt some kind of sonic miracle but is a necessity like good cables and before you spend more on some fancy gear spend something on this to protect and enhance all that stuff

The unit is very simple to use - plug in your gear and turn it on. The manual is helpful in answering any questions, troubleshooting, specifications, etc. I would refer you to the Furman website for all the technical info...

Since this is supposedly a high quality AC Filter, I was expecting it to dramatically reduce my AC line noise problem (or at least come close) - I was wrong. It seems to have cut the noise roughly in half - enough to where I see some of the benefit of the unit, but not enough to completely satisfy me. Granted, I live in a tough neighborhood for AC and RF noise issues (lots of new construction nearby, radio towers, etc) - but I was expecting more supression. I play very well sheilded guitars through well maintained vintage tube amps (new caps, 3-prong AC cords, all properly grounded, etc) with George L's cabling, so there wasn't much more I could do to combat my noise issues.

The unit is solidly built, and the switches and outlets all seem like high quality parts - I think it will last a long time.

I emailed Furman about the RF supression capabilites of the unit (the website and manual do not address this aspect of operation - strange since they touted it's RF capabilities in the reply...) and they emailed me back the next day. They seem to stand behind their products - I would not be worried about it if I were to have a problem.

Since I bought this unit primarily for the noise supression feature, I can't score it any higher. I did need a good AC Power Conditioner to protect my vintage amps and that is why I'm keeping it. One nice feature is the LED meter that tells you how many volts your amps are receiving - especially important with vintage gear since most of it was designed to operate on 110V. Most houses nowadays get way more than that (mine typically gets from 118-122V). If it had more noise supression, I'd easily give it a higher rating - the other features and construction quality are worthy of a 10. A quality unit for the price, IMO.
