very easy to use! only 4 knobs and 2 switches quite simple

i'm strictly a vintage strat player and vintage Fender amp guy, deluxe reverb\pro reverb etc. with minimal pedal array! listen up guys the sound quality of this pedal is totally revolutionary and quite amazing it simply in my 32 years of playing is the most richest, open and hi-fi sounding overdrive on the market today! extremely articulate, and quiet, with lots of headroom to spare! guys, stay away from pedals that sound good at a low volume, 9 times out of 10 they lose all sonic definition when used in a pro setting! not this one, the sound actually evolves as you increase the output level! maintains body and no nasty mid hump here, a true winner! sorry this particular model has been discontinued,but Dave makes this exact same model under the name Custom overdrive! get one quick and forget about thin sounding tube screammers!

totally reliable, have owned it for 2 years now and have never had any problems with it what so ever! i probably would not worry about backups because i actually don't need pedals to make me sound good, would use my analog pro clean boost if any thing ever went wrong with the G2D, but highly unlikely, well made with high quality components and built like a tank!

Dave Manning is the coolest, very friendly and accesible with prompt e-mail communication! never needed any upgrades or repairs! Dave is so cool he sent my friend Mickey a brand new pot for his Cream Tone 2wice because the 1st one was lost in international shipping! how cool is that,and at no charge!

i play blues and classic rock, and for the blues stuff it is perfect as is the solo channel for some of the rockier stuff! trust me gents, been playing since Tricky Dick was in office, and have had the luxury of that time to try everything that popped up on the gear market! this is the best overdrive ever, some people would compare it to the klon and the landgraf and such, but why spend all that cash when you can get this one far far cheaper!!!
