Ease of sound?
This thing is a breeze. I bought it because Alex Lifeson used it as a tuning amp in the late '80's. Granted the Gain channel, chorus and echo leave a bit to be desired, but all in all, the thing sounds great. I fooled my wife into thinking i was Jimmy Page playing Livin Lovin Maid in 1990; she asked, "where were the drums?"

When i cought the amp i was a BIG team guitar player: Downing and Tipton; Murray and Smith; Perry and Whitford. Since then, I have found it to be a wonderful solo player. I love SRV (my hands won't do what he did), a Hendrix fan (Ditto!); Randy......i remember playing "Revelation Mother Earth Through" this for the first time...'77 LP Custom that old effects, channel foot pedal, and how crystal clear it was on the clean channel, then how great it sounded on the dirty.
It was no Marshall, but it really sounded good.
It is one of the quietest amps I have ever used.
I play through a rack that no one would believe.
