Easy as pie ... read my sound quality review and you'll know exactly what difference it made.

RMC1 GUTS are now available as drop-in for any wah wah pedal! This is basically the RMC1 pedal without the shell - RMC1 non-adjustable board, DPDT switch, ROC POT2, input and output jacks, and battery clip. Just screw it into any wah wah and make your own RMC1! This is like buying the RMC-mod board, rocpot-II, DPDT true bypass switch and having them wired and assembled with new jacks and a battery clip for only a bit more money.

Thats how it read on the AnalogMan.com web site. So I drove there and met Mike in person. He sold me the very last one he had. It now says that they are no longer available on his web site. I truly am a lucky soul.

Easy to install and easy to use. I had a Dunlop original crybaby model GCB-95. It is now a crybaby shell with the RMC1 sound. I call it the "Crying Teese Baby".

Compared to how the crybaby sounded before the modification it's a 1000% upgrade. I get a boner everytime I use it. My wife is very jealous as she no longer turns me on.

No need for a backup with this Wah. Its like the American Express card to me. I Don't leave home without it !!!!!!!

Customer Support : No Opinion
I do not expect to get it repaired but if the service is as excellent as the manufacturing, I am not concerned at all.

Overall Rating : 10
I play blues, rock and country.
It's the perfect match for me and my guitar.
I have been playing for nearly 20 years. It works well with my pedal line up that includes:

Ibanez TS9 ( Modified also my analog Mike )
Boss CE-2 Chorus
Boss DM-2 Analog Delay
Boss OC-2 Octave
Ibanez SM9 Super Metal
MXR Phase 90
Electro-Harmonix Deluxe Electric Mistress Flanger/Filter Matrix
Boss NF-1 Noise Gate
MXR Micro Amp
Morley ABY Switch

An original 1965 Vox Cambridge Reverb Model V1031
An original 1970's Legend Model A30
A Fender Hot Rod Deville 2x12
A 1992 Fender Strat Plus - Gold Lace Sensor pickups and TBX tone

Along with the amazing sounds I get from the RMC1 mod to the Wah pedal, this line up of amps, effects and the guitar can give me any and every sound I like.

If you can't get the RMC Mod Kit like I did ( Huge thanks to Analog Mike and Geoffrey Teese ) then buy the whole pedal. You will not be sorry.

Distortion&Fuzz.Mr.Teese INSTALLED his RMC1 Mod and a True Bypass switch for me.It sounds alot more fuller, with a greater sweep range plus with a slight boost. It also has alot more bottom now,not thin&weak.I can't believe the difference now!!!I play a Fender Strat

Loosen two screws and the wiring harness in your old wah, reverse the procedure and your done. Stomp on the wah and presto!

Sound Quality : 10
The sound of the RMC1 Mod (printed circuit board)in my Vox V847 is superb. The sound is rich & warm with a vowel like nature, a very natural sound. The sweep range is greatly improved over the stock V847 and is a delight to use. Think Jimi Hendrix. Another thing that really appeals to me is that there is a slight boost to RMC1 circuit when engaged which is a real plus. With all the other wahs I've ever used, including the stock V847, there was a significant signal loss when the pedal was engaged. Not so with the RMC1!! Simply stated, my V847 the RMC1 mod is the way a wah SHOULD sound. Mr. Teese hit the nail on the head with this one!

Reliability : 10
The PCB appears to be very well built with clean tracings and clean solders. I don't foresee any reliability issues.

I am 100% confident that I'll have no trouble with this product. And if I did, knowing Mr. Teese, it would be squared away immediately. Prior to buying the mod, I pestered the poor guy for weeks asking every kind of question imaginable, always with with a prompt, informative and courteous response. Besides, what can go wrong with a PCB?? Mr. Teese offered me tons of free advice on how to make my V847 sound better without having to buy his mod. Now that's hard to top!

Overall Rating : 10
This mod made a night and day difference to my V847. Where it was thin, brittle, very "quacky", and with a very narrow sweep before, it is now robust, rich, warm and with a very friendly sweep range. It's just a damn outstanding pedal thanks to the RMC1 mod. I can't imagine ever parting with this pedal, or ever having a need for any other. I have been playing for 30 years now and I know good sound. If this pedal were lost or stolen, I would replace it immediately.
