Simple to use-either on or off. Switch pressure is just right-easy to turn on, but not so easy that you turn it off inadvertently.

Sounds superb with my American Deluxe HSS Strat into 1968 Deluxe Reverb (AB763 Blackface circuit) amp. Loves humbuckers AND single coil pups, as well as my Paul Cochrane Tim (Overdrive) pedal. It's very quiet even in toe down position. Some wahs really clunk on and off. The Joe Walsh Wah is very smooth-levels are perfectly set so it's not so obvious when you go on or off. Some wahs go "Wee-Wee" and some go "Quack-Quack." This one goes "Wah-Wah" like I want it to do. Sounds a lot like the RMC4- great classic wah sound and easy to control. This wah really adds to the "Fun-ness" of picking because it sounds so fine. It makes you want to play- not tweak!

If you're tired of clunky, noisy, crappy wahs that never sound good no matter how you tweak them, you should try this one. It's perfect right out of the box. I've been playing for 45 years and have had lots of wahs since the 1960's. I have a good "Wah Foot". I play a lot of styles and the Joe Walsh is, by far, the finest wah I've ever played. It covers all the wah bases I want. Now I just relax and enjoy playing. Thank you Geoffrey and Joe for a superlative wah!
