Ease of Use : 10
This is a stereo "ping pong" tremelo effect pedal. You plug a mono input and it gives you two 1/4" outputs (for a left and right amp setup.) I use it with my Rhodes Stage piano and it provides the classic "vibrato" usually found only in the Suitcase versions. In spite of the fact that the manual is very sketchy, it's easy to get a true, deep effect out of this pedal.

Sound Quality : 10
As I wrote, I'm using this with my Rhodes piano and two powered Samson speakers. One 1/4" phone plug cord from the piano into the pedal and two 1/4" outs provide the left/right signals. It's quiet/silent and built very similar to a Morley pedal. IOW, it's all metal except for the pedal and built like a tank. It provides a deep/shallow, slow/fast effect and offers "symetry" in case you wanted one side to sound longer than the other.

Reliability : 10
Yes, it's built like a tank and, if it did fail it's an effect. I could continue to perform without it if necessary... I'm not familiar with this Czech builder, but his pedals seem bulletproof.

I've had several email back-and-forths with the builder and George answers quickly and helpfully from Czechoslovakia. No repair issues.

It comes without a wall wart. The Morley 9V adaptor with a positive center terminal works perfectly. It's "regulated" which is what George Dennis recommends. Compared to similar solutions for providing stereo Rhodes "vibrato" this is very cost effective and works well!

Ease of Use : 10
I recently bought a minty Rhodes Stage piano which has a mono output. I wanted the stereo "ping-pong vibrato" the Suitcase version offers since I'm running two amps. This pedal works perfectly. It takes that mono 1/4" input and has left/right 1/4" outputs. It works as a volume pedal, too (but not simultaneously.) It has four controls and operation is intuitive.

Sound Quality : 10
This Czech-made pedal resembles a Morley, i.e. metal base, solid pedal, optical control, quality-feeling knobs and pots. It's very quiet and works off a 9V battery or 9V negative center power adapter which was not provided. (I'm using the Morley adapter...) For my Rhodes it provides a deep effect with control over rate and symmetry. (Keep the symmetry control at 12:00 so the ping and pong are equal!)

Reliability : No Opinion
So far, no problems. I've contacted the owner/builder, George in Czechoslavakia (sp) and he's answered my questions promptly and completely.

I'm primarily a jazz pianist and I couldn't resist this classic keyboard when it came up on Craigslist to add to my collection! When I owned a Suitcase in the early 70's I liked the stereo panning effect it offered. For the price, there's nothing else out there that will provide stereo "vibrato" as Fender called it. I'd get another one if it was stolen or lost. Now, to tune, regulate and voice the beast! BTW, I'm running two Samson powered monitors and am happy with the sound and convenience since they have built-in wheels and handles.
