Ease of Use : 8
Easy to use, except you have to tinker with the trim pots to get your desired sweep range.

Sound Quality : 1
It sucks. As soon as the wah is engaged, it thins out your overall sound. This might be a reasonable wah for recording, but if you're playing live, then you'll most likely get lost in the mix or lose all the girth of your tone--basically, sounds like a very cheap wah for the price of $183. Even adjusting the trim pots didn't alter the fundamental tonal characteristic of this wah--thin and unprofessional.

The guitars being used were a Fender Jazzmaster and a Gretsch hollowbody. The amp a Roland JC-120. Effects that went after the wah were a ProCo Turbo Rat, Barber LTD SR, and Boss DD-3. The wah killed the full, rich tone of both the guitars. My malfunctioning Vox wah sounds much more musical.

Reliability : 4
The baseplate seems to have come with 4 screw holes, but there are no screws holding it in place. You can basically yank it out. I don't consider this very reliable for gigging.

I took a chance and bought this wah, based on some of the positive reviews on here. However, I'm returning it ASAP. Of course, it is always best to judge for yourself as far as the tone of musical gear is concerned. However, I hope this review will save someone else the disappointment and hassle that has been my lot.

My musical style is along the lines of "post-punk" and alternative bands like The Cure, My Bloody Valentine, Sonic Youth, David Bowie, Joy Division, etc. For the spacey, textured, lush and full sounds that I tend to get with my equipment, this wah is not a match.

This Wah is wery easy to use. By step of pedal front you switch between Wah effect and true bypass. No other knobs.

Sound Quality : 10
I am very satisfied. I used many of various Wah pedals and at last I have the right one. The sweep allows to play all variations and mainly the "bubble" and changing of frequence of Jimi Hendrix. By switching is the pedal fully quietly. Nice work.

Reliability : No Opinion
I have this pedal one month only and I play daily on it without any problems.

Customer Support : No Opinion
I know the company is very helpful. I discussed with George myself.
The pedal is double optical controlled, no pots, no problems.

Overall Rating : 10
It is the best Wah pedal that I played. Is full true bypass and provide me great wah sound by clean or distorted channel. I have no other wish regarding wah effect more.

Wahs are pretty simple to use!

The pedal construcion is uneaven on my unit and caused only one of the rubber stoppers on the toe end of the unit to make contact so you really had to push *very* hard to switch the wah on and off which is crazy... but i think i can cut some of the rubber off and fix this.

Sound Quality : 5
The wah sounds okay however it doesn't live up to "the most vocal-like quality of their wah pedals." I guess it could be true if they modelled it on a really high shrilling and annoying voice!

This Elite wah sounds too high pitched and turns my amp distortion to crap and when i use it. If i lower the high EQ on the clean/distortion channel i can get a reasonable sound however as soon as i turn the unit off then my distortion is muffled :S. I've even tried turning the tone knob on my boss cs-3 down to try tame it but that works only to limited success.

Lastly the unit creates a big pop when switching the effect on and there is a half second delay before the effect comes through - turning off is a bit quicker with less noise.

(I had used another GD-30/volume wah and even on the high Q setting
the wah was better sounding and with no pop)

Using
Ibanez + Brian Moore Guitars
VHT 50w 2x12 Pitbull
I experimented using the wah direct and in a chain...

Reliability : 9
I'm sure i could depend on it as apart from the uneaven construction it seems very solid, but i'm gonna sell it...

Due to its shrilly vintage sound and operational flaws I'm not very impressed.

...they claim it is a professional product though I doubt it is used by professionals.

Easy like 1+1, you step on it and you're in heaven.

I play with a Fibenare Basic Jazz or my own made strat-copy with Fibenare pickups. The signal path is the follows: Guitar->AKG wireless-> GD-50-> MesaBoogie Quad Pre->Digitech DHP33->Digitech GSP2101Artist->MosValve962.
No noise, silent switching. I hated my CryBaby's "pppp" when switched.
The Wah is so smooooth, even with distortion after it! No jump in frequency like on crybabies!
I tried George Dennis wahs becouse my favorite guitarist Roine Stolt uses one. And Yess this is the sound!

Reliability : 10
Dual optical control=liftetime warranty:-)
Built like a tank. But I only play it

I bought this unit right from George on the Messe.
I asked him about the setting of the trim-pots inside on email, and he replied in half an hour!
Thanks George!:-)

Overall Rating : 10
I play the guitar for 10 years now, and I play Pink FLoyd for 5 years.
I've had a CryBaby but I hated the jump frequency when distorted.
Now I have the perfect Wah!
I'd definietly would by another one if it were stolen.
