Very easy to get the funky sound I have already in my mind before getting this pedal.
The only bad thing I have now is that I often click the bypass switch which positioned on the full press of the pedal. When you in the groove and press-depress the "CLICK"... all the wah gone.

It's quite on bypass.
Offcourse it's much much beter than ZOOM multieffect I have ever borrow..

The 9V batt drained very fast... need to get the DC adaptor
If you reharse for 2 hours and use it very frequent as I do than you defenitely need a batt backup.

The manufacturer's website seems adequately informative although provide no pdf of user manual for the efx pedals.

I play funk to swing big band jazz. this modern sound definitely will enrich my guitar sound in the middle of brass and saxes...
If it stolen I will buy another used GD. It's unpopular hence very cheap but sound fantastic for the price.
I just wish it will improve (reduce) the sensitivity of de-activation swicth.

Simple when you work out how it works. When in bypass, it bypasses. When depressed fully, it engages the wah AND overdrive. As far as I know, there is no way to get just overdrive. To get just wah, just turn the gain knob to zero. Wish you could just use the overdrive alone- more out of curiosity than anything- George Dennis make such durable and great sounding gear.

I'm using: Fender strats/tele->GD O'drive Wah->Boss AW-2 autowah->MXR Micro-Amp boost->Ibanez Tube Screamer->Boss OD-2 turo o'drive->Boss BF-2 flanger->Boss CH-1 chorus->George Dennis Vol-Trem->Ibanez DL-10 delay->Fender Super 210 all-tube combo.
The sound is the best wah sound I've ever heard- clean OR dirty. And I've owned an original 1965 Jen Crybaby Wah. Just cuts through the mix without being too trebly.
I'll say it again: these wahs are the closest thing to true-bypass other than the real thing. No discernible tone-suck whatsoever. This absolutely whips Dunlop and all other wahs I have tried or owned.

Everything is ship-shape, although I'm not too keen on the pointy knobs to the side (I've got an older model) and I don't even think they're going to be a drama. And I don't have a choice re playing without backup pedals- most of my effects are not in production anymore.

Bit of a problem with small companies but I've yet to test it. Website is practically useless.

A great match- just a great sounding wah with a little snarling overdrive on the side. I've been playing for about 15 years and this is head and shoulders above the rest. Only complaint is that you can't have just drive and that the LED is down the bottom so if you've got loose/flared pants, you can't see it (ok, that was two complaints...)
Other solid gold.
