It is very easy to use. Just step on it and play.
Sometimes it is a little hard to turn off... you have to push it two or three times instead of one. But it don't matter so much, because when the pedal is on it's down position it don't change the sound so much even when it is on, especially when the switch is on the Hi-position.

Sound Quality : 10
The sound is just great. I had an early 70's Italian (Jen) made Vox V-846 Wah and I have to say; this thing beats it. I loved the Vox but I sold it because there were some good money laying in it after I bought this one.

Right now I'm usin it with Duesenber D-caster guitar and old, early 50's german made tube amp. And this wah just fits on it's place with them and other pedals.

I give 10 points because this pedal is all you need if you want to play with wah wah.

Reliability : 10
No problems.

It was used when I bought it. And it looked like it was ******* by train. But it just looked like that. It works well.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealed with them, but their internet site is OK.

Overall Rating : 10
Here you can have a great pedal with quite a smal money. Ofcourse you can spend your money to most expensive pedal to make your friends jealous. But you know in Finland we have this phrase "ugly people wear nice clothes". So if you just want to Rock! and sound credible, buy this.

If my GD-wah were stolen... well first I would get drunk... then I would buy another.

The Switch Plus is a really intuitive pedal:

Part Volume Pedal, Part Wah, with TWO modes, which can be switched on the fly...

the pedal is really simple to use as long as you have full cognition and are able to work things without dribbling.

Sound Quality : 10
I use this with my JCM800, ENGL Powerball through a 1960BV Cab. My lead tone comes from an ADA MP-1.

This is the quietest, most delicious sounding wah (on both settings) I have ever used.

in the LO setting the bass is really pronouced and honky, with a deep OOOOOOOR sound; not wolly like a lot of wahs, the mid has a great spike, a great low mid range chunk in it.
Pushed fully towards the treble side it has a little bite, but not like a crybaby more of a HARK not a EHEEEEEEEEEEEK.

on the HI setting, the bass is brought forward and the mid range is higher up, the treble setting is brighter but never harsh but always cutting.

The sweep on the pedal is huge! much larger than most wah's, so you really have control over your tone and foot work!!!

Live this wah is just perfect, it's musical and useable, not just a wanking glove like a lot of wahs.

I used a Budda wah for about 5 years, because it was similar in tone to the HI setting on the GD. BUT the GD is road worthy, and the pot doesn't have to be replaced, because there isn't one!

All in all, the sound is perfect, articulate and quiet. Win.

Reliability : 8
It's dependable, but i haven't used it on a show run yet (as in more than 3 in a row)

but I don't think ill have any problems.

I had to replace the feet with rubber grips because ona wet floor it would slip around.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never delt with them, but im sure they're nice and helpful.

Overall Rating : 10
I play extreme death metal and most people run towards the Crybaby's as their wahs, but I have to say this George Dennis wah is the farking BOMB! Durable, articulate, toneful and 100% usable.

PLUS it's a volume pedal as well, so you really can't complain, if you had to, you'd probably say that the pedal could do with being bigger... my feet are size UK 12 and it's small compared to most wahs.

But thats actually a good thing as well because it fits everywhere and doesn't bounce around!

Great value, WORTH every penny

I manage to toggle the switch while playing.
It does look a bit flimsy but so far (2 years) it didn't break while doing that.

The wha is very hard to switch on and off.
I still don't get used to it.
Need to push twice 3 times out of 4

Sound Quality : No Opinion
Not a lot of travel.
Less tone sucking in bypass than a crybaby.
Optical wha - great.

The bass mode is very nice for power chords on the 2 bottom strings
Useless anywhere else on the neck
The high mode is useless on the bottom strings (just like most whas).

I'm not a big wah player so I can't really give an opinion about tonal
qualities. Let me say that I had 3 different dunlop ones (CB,535, JH1) and like this one better than the CB and the JH1.
The 535Q is way more versatile though.

The Dennis wha is very nice on clean amp settings (funk etc ...)
Doesn't like high gain at all.
Not that great for high gain soloing (whether before or after the dirt pedal)
Works very nicely for phase-like wha effects when set after a fuzz pedal.

Reliability : No Opinion
Seems to withstand the abuse (2 years)
Gigged a couple times with it.

The wah is better than its price.
Not worse than any Dunlop I've tried.

Dead easy. Plug, hit and play. I use it between compressor(1st) and Tube scream(last). But recomment a bit of exploring. Sounds are personal as we know. Don't put a wah in front of a comp. This will always cause noise. Anyway. easy.

Sound Quality : 9
Great, in any circumstance the wah sounds more that good. No Noise. No Sratch. If I use only the Wah its tremendous. If I use it with other pedals it sounds tremendous too. Just try different configurations and you will see that it always sounds good. (at least)
Ha, compared to the well known machines it is more than good. No scratchy sounds, no hickups, even though mine isn't thru bypass it sounds like one. (no sound change at all. Try Dunlops you get squashed).
As I said don't use it infront of a comp. Get microphonic (Btw all wah have this)
Any amp I use it sounds good. I use a '65 old bandmaster from fender. But I've used Boogies, Marshall, Rolands and whatever. It sounds good to excellent. Different guitars no problem.......
I give a nine 'cause other wise the search of the holy grail would be stopped. But let me tell you, There is no use of looking any further.

Reliability : 10
I've had it for 5 years now. Brand new at that time. I use it for 2 to 3 gigs a week in various songs. Also we rehearse at least once a week. It always changes my mood to good if I feel a bit lousy. It's musical, thats why.... So yes I depend on it and its always there.
Backups ??? Even though these are not expensive I've never thought about spending money on a second one. There's no need.
I have another wah (JH-1) but its not a backup. 'wouldn't rely on that one". Ha...why backing up a Volvo with a Triumph spitfire. Wouldnt work....

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never dealt with them. Would like to ...... but we would still be strangers I guess 'cause there's no need. I mean I buy..it works....no repairs..so hey.....maybe for an occasional drink.

Overall Rating : 10
I bought it once when going to a gig. Reason was that the one I had went broke the day before. You know how those things go. I used it that night and didnt even bother about the change. Was one of the good nights you know. Anyway after two weeks I started realising that I was still using it and found myself surprised that I never spend time adjusting, changing or searching for a sound. So ..........it says it all.
As I said it makes me feel good when needed. I mean I some times kick it in and use it in different songs when I feel like it. It always works musically. (I play roots-/blues rock.) Use tube amps and mainly Strats, Blades and Teles.
I it would be stolen? I would spend time chasing the bastart. I mean he has good taste. I would spend time in purchasing a new one as soon as possible and continue doing what I like the most.
What I love is that (porsche green) colour. What I hate is that it doesn't have two plusses (++) in its name. That would serve right.
I will definitely try one of the new 1-channel amps when I come across one. I like the simplicity so its worth a try.
Last note... I don't use much of effects but I guess the rest will be as satisfying for other players as much as this one does for me.
And eh...............I don't work for the company.

There is no way of changing the shape or sweep. The switch offers you more lower octaves or something, but doesn't change the actual shape.
It is NOT true bypass! It IS digital, and the best bit- its OPTICAL, so no scrathy pot noises, and thanks to a glue gun inside, its not going to break, you have no pots to wear out, and there are no strings to break. It doesn't skid like a string type one either.

If you listen carefully, on mine at least I have a gripe. Starting with the pedal fully back, and going forwards, at first there is no change, then a big flip, and then a gradual fade. Have a look inside and its obvious why.

Its optical. The way it works is, you have an LDR which basically means it changes the tone depending on the amount of light reaching a little square bit of plastic. There is an LED shining on it from opposite. When you tread on it, a metal arm swings across, slowly bringing a shadow accross the patch making the sound change. If you start with the pedal fully forward, heres what happens: AS you move the pedal a shadow travells accross the square. When it gets to the end of teh square, there is a big change in tone as it goes from having a long strip of the plastic being shined on, to nothing. This causes a drastic tone change suddenly, impossible to smooth out. From then on, as you move the arm, the square stays in shadow, meaning movement has no effect on the tone. However, if you file a bit off the arm from inside, then it makes the final change in tone smoother and makes the whole sweep have an effect. Its impossible to explain, so you gotta have a look inside to know what im on about. The point it, if you open it up, file away a bit, them you have a much better wah dead easily!

Dont sue me if you srew up your pedal.

No problem with a wha...just plug and step on it...isn't it??? U can move the switch with your feet too

Sound Quality : 9
I'm using it with a Strato reissue 54 with Kinmans or a Jackson Soloist USA through a VHT Pittbull 100 CL with ENGL cab. Other effects used: Boss CE-20, DD-5. Real true bypass. Nice sound quality: has more balls than Morley, quite lass scratchy and mid-boosting than Cry Baby; I don't know the vay Vox sounds, but everyone says it's quite similar; I don't know, but I like it very much, especially with the switch on bass position: doesn't cut bottom end!

Reliability : 8
It seems very sturdy. Anyway not top notch quality, but anyway for its price it's unbeatable!

Never dealt with them

Very nice sound. Very usable range. Just a little bit annoying 'cause U have to push hard to engage/disengage the effect.

It is very easy to use. However, the high/low frequency switch is built at a very awkward location making it impossible to switch with shoes on.

Sound Quality : 9
The sound, at high frequency, is very similar to that of a Vox Wah-Wah's. It's high/low frequency switch offers the user more versatility with the wah effect, and it sounds great in both modes. Unlike Vox Wah-Wahs and Crybabys, this pedal is very quite and there is no noise when switching on the wah effect.

Reliability : 9
Well, this pedal is very well constructed. The whole pedal is made out of metal so you do not have to worry about dropping it on hard surfaces. However, the battery life seems short but you can always use a DC adapter.

Overall Rating : 9
This is a great sounding pedal and it is very easy to use. Its extra wide frequency range is a big plus because it can be used for both guitars and basses. It is simply great.
