Simple!!! No frequency adjustments knobs etc. This is a plus in my book. I like the basic sound of this pedal and I wouldn't like to do any further adjustments to it anyway.
Plug in and you're good to go.

Sound Quality : 9
This is an amazing wah! If you like clean or slightly overdriven as your main sound this is the wah to go with. Great for jazz, blues, funk. I prefer it through a clean amp than a distorted one. I also prefer it after my distortion/fuzz boxes than before. It robs a little bit of my volume in bypass mode. It's not even audiable really but I emailed the company about it anyway (see customer support). The sweep is long and smooth. It stays focused throughout the entire sweep. Some people think that these are the same as Morley. I compared it to a Morley and they sound different.

Reliability : 10
I opened my pedal to check out how it's made. Quality through and through. Very clean!
Also no pots to wear out, metal in and out jacks and pcb housed in a metal case. The only thing I had to repair on mine was glueing back the rubber foot underneath the rocker after twelve years of use!!!! TWELVE YEARS!!! I call this extra reliable.

Customer Support : 10
They have the best customer support in the known Universe. I have emailed the company a couple of times asking information about some of their products. I got a responce within a day.
I also emailed them asking how I could slightly mofify my pedal. George Dennis himself wrote back to me the next day supplying some useful documentation!
10+++

it's a wha wha, its very easy to use unless you have some bad brain damage...

Sound Quality : 10
I use this with 1988 yamaha rgh 312. Yamaha -> George dennis wah-wah ->ibanez super stereo chorus sc10 -> Marshal AVT50. This wah kicks ass! It sounds as good as vox and better than crybaby. Great for Funk, old school RHCP, Pearl Jam's "Ten", Hendrix stuff, it's perfect for "Enter sandman" solo! I love this pedal, will never sell it.

Reliability : 9
It has an optical pot which lasts forever! You even get a lifetime warranty for an optical section. You can be sure this sucker will work for years and years of use.

It's built pretty good, much better then crybabies and vox, but still not perfect... Here's the problem, when i started to play it, after 3 hours or so, 2 upper rubber feet slipped inside. i put them bach, but they couldnt stay in place. It couldbethat i stomped too hard on it, i dont know... Everything else is perfect. Oh yeah, batteries last pretty long.

I would use it w/out a backup.

Customer Support : 10
These guys are great, i e-mailed them to seek help for rubber feet, and George Burgerstein himself answered right away! He asked for my Mail adress so he could send me replacment for feet FOR FREE! Thanks George!

Overall Rating : No Opinion
I play in a cover band (Rhcp, Pearl Jam, Nirvana, Hendrix, ZZ top...). It's great for RHCP stuff like "Sir psycho sexy", "Get on top" "BSSM" and freaky styley stuff! It's perfect for Pearl Jams "Even Flow"... I've been playin for 2 years... If it were stolen, i'd find the bastard and tortue him until he dies in agony... i realy love this one... I wish George Dennis was more known because this one kicks ass!

This pedal has a very impressive sweep. It operates by pressing it all the way forward to engage the swith (located under the pedal). It has a perfect degree of 'stiffness' for you to familiarise yourself with (which doesn't take long for you to become accustomed to).
I didn't get a manual with it.

Sound Quality : 10
I use a 1995 Mexican Fender Stratocaster (stock pickups) and a Marshall AVT50.
I play quite a wide range of music but love funk and punk derived music the most. If you've ever heard The Red Hot Chili Peppers 'Yertle Trilogy', then this pedal will give you that sound and more. It doesn't do the most precise Hendrix vibe (a la Voodoo Child), but that could be down to my Mex stock pickups.
This pedal is just SO sweet sounding that every time I use it means a trip to funk heaven for me.

Reliability : 10
I would challenge anyone to try and bend it or dent it. The pedal as well as the base casing is made from solid steel. It really wouldn't look out of place in a military hardware store.
The bright orange enamel paint just shrugs off abuse. The rubber feet don't pull off in your hands (Dunlop!!).
If this thing were a car, it'd be of the armour plated V8 muscle variety.

Customer Support : 10
I've dealt with the UK main dealership. They're very helpful and friendly.

Overall Rating : 10
Like I say, I play most styles of music but this is really sweet for funk. It's like being immersed in cream. I love the way it looks, the way it makes me smile and the way it makes my friends gawp in amazement.
I bought this second hand. They are quite hard to get hold of in the UK. I only know of one dealer in my area that sells them. I think that's why not many people have heard of them or tried one.
I won't slag off Dunlop, VOX, Morley etc. etc. in order to make my pedal sound better. I will, however say that for this price, you will be smiling all the way to funkdom. It really is a damn fine effect. I will never get rid of it (as effects come and go in my house) and I will end by saying "BUY ONE". Otherwise you're all just missing out.

Ease of Use : 10
This is soooooooo easy to use, you step down on the 'toe' part to switch it on, and rock it back and forth to make it go 'wah' It's so easy to find the sweet spots, although if you like that Jimmy Page-type flutter effect then it's a little harder to achieve as the pedal is slightly stiffer. I happen to like this, as you can really feel the sweep with your foot. That, coupled with the optic control made me buy this over a Crybaby.

Sound Quality : 10
I'm using a Strat and a Les Paul with this pedal, it loves bridge pickups and it wahs oh-so-sweetly. It kicks the butt of my Vox, the wah is sharper overall (which I like) and is more pronounced. It's really, really easy to find the 'sweet spot' or 'biting point', to get that Schenker-y, Satriani type 'honk' and it's just a great sounding pedal. Compared this to 2 other leading wahs and it comes out on top. The sound is like a that of a Crybaby, only slightly sharper (ie better)If you add reverb on your amp while you wah, you get that huge sound kinda like Steve Vai's.

Reliability : 10
Never had a single solitary flaw with this pedal. It's FAR more reliable than my other wahs and thanks to the optic, I'll never have to replace pots and the sound won't get all scratchy!

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never had to deal with the company; this pedal has been flawless from day one.

Overall Rating : 10
This pedal is great for funk, rock and blues wah sound. Including this pedal, I have four wahs and it whups them all in terms of sound, reliability and ease of use. I'm going to try buying the George Dennis switch wah because I'm very greedy and I'd like a slightly bigger sweep!!! I'd replace this in a heartbeat, although I don't think I'll ever need to. The fact that it has an optic instead of a pot is magnificent and it gives this pedal an edge over its rivals (which are considerably more expensive) Comparing it to the Vox, Snarling Dogs Super Bawl Whine-o-wah and the wah feature in my Korg floor multi, it beats them all for sound clarity and ease of use. If I could add anything it would be a switch - not to select 3 different types of sweep, but one maybe inside to lengthen the overall sweep for a bigger wah sound. Apart from that it's really hard to find a fault with this pedal. I'll stick my neck out and say it's the best bit of gear I own, and it kicks the butt of Vox, Crybaby and Morley wahs. My friends were a little snobbish at first because it wasn't an expensive make, but when they heard it they were impressed!

ONly a dumbass couldn't figure out how to use one of these.

Sound Quality : 8
This Pedal has a pretty good sound, it saps a little volume from your guitar, but that is easily fixable.

Reliability : 7
I had to repair some of the circuit boards on the inside. Also, the adaptor plug was inturrupting power to the pedal, making it soud kinda scratchy. A 9 volt battery sounds better, but doesn't last long

Customer Support : No Opinion
never had to deal with em

Overall Rating : 8
I play everthing from metal to blues, and it sounds pretty good with Godsmack solos and older stuff like Hendrix. THis pedal is very versitle and i would buy it again.

This wah-wah pedal is really easy to use, just plug in and play. It is simple to get a good sound out of it because there arent any knobs to mess around with. It didn't come with a manuel(it didn't need to)overall it's great because it can emulate lots of different wah-wah sounds

Sound Quality : 9
I use a Fender U.S strat plus/danelectro 59-DC/epiphone 58'korina flying V then to the wah-wah then through a Peavy bandit 112 or occasionally a fender deluxe 85'. It is completly silent and the effect always come through the mix.

Reliability : 10
I depend on it entirely I use it at gigs without a backup.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never had to never will

Overall Rating : 9
I play really blues influenced rock and the wah-wah works perfect for that style. I have been playing for 5 years and this is my 2nd wah-wah pedal. If it were stolen I would defenitley get a new one. It defenitley helps me make music

Very comfortable to use, on off switch is easy to step on, but not too easy, u know't I mean. A feature that is quite seldom found is the FX-on LED.

Sound Quality : 10
I use it after a cheap Korg GT-3 Tuner, and before a t.c. Chorus/Flanger and an Ibanez Delay; amp: JCM2000 DSL 50. Great FX-Soundpretty similar to the Crybaby sound, but less high-mids, so it's not so harsh, which suits my taste. in comparison to a Crybaby it has very mucj less noise, and the electro-optical control will never get scratchy by turning the pedal....

Reliability : 10
never had any probs with it, neiter live nor during practices

I met a czech dealer at the German music fair in Frankfurt. Very friendly and helpful, although he didn't speak German at all, and a weak English.

Overall Rating : No Opinion
a great sounding wahwah, fully maintanance free, with a sweeter sound than a crybaby

It's very easy to use, put your foot on to it and freek out. There is a little switch (adjusts the wahs range) witch is little to hard to switch with your foot, becuse it's to close to the footpedal.

Sound Quality : 8
The Pedel is very quiet, and sounds great. The only ting that sound bad is that sometimes some radiofrequeny (AM, Russian radio) gets in to the amp thrue the whawha, it's not a big problem for me. This problem i tink will come out of any whawha pedal.

Reliability : No Opinion
Yes i can depend on this little ting.

Overall Rating : 8
I tink i would by it again, I compared it with a VOX GOLD before i but it, i didn't like the VOX as much that i liked the George dennis model.
