Ease of Use : 8
Technically it's easy as in there's a high low switch and an on off. But the two modes are radically different and the sweeping in pretty extreme. I feel after two years I'm still getting the "touch" for it.

Sound Quality : 9
I use it with a tele, (Dimarrzio pick ups) run into a YCV 80. Mid and bass like I've never heard. Using the Bass setting I can get electric piano sounds out of this thing. It can sound like a phaser/flager if I'm sweeping slowly over mild distortion. Definitly lends its self to modern sounds or Hendrix over the top wah sound.

Reliability : 8
I bought it used for ($90) canadian. I have been using it almost daily for 2 years and no problem. A little foot pad it falling off. It's dirty. The switch had to be replaced but for a hobbiest electrician it was pretty simple to replace.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Never used them. They are up and coming so I would think they would be great but that's just speculation.

Overall Rating : 7
I like this wah a lot. It has a pretty radical range but sometimes it's too much. It loses the bottom end on the bass setting, (Dunlop's bass wah allows the low to pass through).

I definitly dig it but if it was stolen I would go for the Roland V-wah.

I'm a sucker for up and coming companys so It scores points there, (the serial number is written in pen on the bottom. How cool is that?)
But I think I may look to a more customizable wah in the future.

As easy as things can go. Plug in cables, slide open the battery locker and there you are. Use the switch to tweak the sound.

Sound Quality : 10
No noise at all. Both curves are extremely usable for me.

Reliability : 10
Seems to be rock solid.

Customer Support : No Opinion
never dealt with them. Hard to get a hold of GD equipment.

I play Jazz/Funk/Groove and Rock music. I use it in my keyboard setup for both hammond and rhodes/wurli type of sounds and it works out great.

oh yes so easy to use.. simply press down with your toe to switch on and move your foot around the lo-hi switch is easy to understand what it does the only problem is it might be a little difficult to switch on especially on a carpet.. no real problems switching it on on a hard floor

Sound Quality : 9
one word. awsome. has a very good non-harsh wah sound and optical control = no pot = never scratchy works ok as a bass wah though i personally would rather purchase a crybaby bass wah for personal reasons it really helps me do what i need to do

Reliability : 9
its very well built me being who i am i like to open my pedals up to look at their insides and i would say its very solidly built only problem is i dont trust the jacks fully and that is the only reason i wont give it a 10

Customer Support : No Opinion

Overall Rating : 10

It took me a minute to figure out the on/off switch, but otherwise it's plug it in and go.

Sound Quality : 9
This pedal is VERY quiet. If you're used to the high end hiss of a Cry Baby you'll think your missing something. The wah tone is very good.

Reliability : 9
It's built like a tank. The high/low switch seems like it could be damaged, but I wouldn't worry about the pedal getting broken. The pedal uses high quality components and looks like it could survive World War III or abusive roadies! :)

I've corresponded with Mr. Dennis himself. He's very helpful. The company is in the Czech Republic so I hope dealer support in other countries becomes well established.

This is a Wah Wah Pedal with a high/low range switch. It can be used with a bass or as a "mellower" wah. I compared it with a Thomas Organ era Vox, a Dunlop Cry Baby, a Budda Wah and a Maxon AF-9 Auto Filter. To my ear the Vox is the wah tone standard that all are compared to. Having said that, the Vox is also noisey and is pretty worn. So, what's a gigging wahster to do? Well, if you want a quiet, great sounding wah, try the Dennis. It has a different tone then the Vox. To my ear the high harmonics are different. It's more of a "high tech" tone. This pedal would be great in the studio but would be equally at home on stage through cranked amps. The pedal is more the size of a Morley pedal then a Dunlop. So the feel is a little different. Kind of like driving a different car. If you're used to one, it'll take a little time to adjust. The high/low swith is a mini-toggle. I'd be a little concerned about it getting damaged, but I couldn't think of a better way of doing it. It looks heavy duty enough, but it is small. It's not something you can use on the fly very easily, but I found myself setting it and forgeting it. Overall, I found this to be an excellent pedal. Well constructed, great tone and low noise. True bypass as well! What more can you ask for? George Dennis makes a full line of pedals, all of them have a rocker pedal. This includes flangers, choruses, delays and phasers so you can sweep functions. Pretty darned cool! It's nice to see someone coming up with quality effects that aren't just clones of existing pedals and offering features not available elsewhere. I don't know how well distributed these pedals are, but they are well worth seeking out!
