Very easy to use, one switch to turn it on and one knob for desired level of boost.

I really like it. Does exactly what it is supposed to do and as explained in the product description on Russell's website. Ultra-clean boost of around 10dB. I use it as end-of-chain line driver on my pedalboard to make up for the long cable run to the amp.
I used to have Xotic RC booster for this purpose but I never used the extra EQ and Gain controls and wanted something simpler and cleaner. RC is a very "transparent" boost as well but I do find that Goudie FX Buffer Boost is a even more transparent (does not color the sound) and slightly quieter, probably due to lack of additional EQ and gain stages in the circuit.
