Ease of Use

All of the knobs and sliders are clearly marked, so that's not a problem. My only complaint in the ease-of-use department is that the speed knob is a bit too sensitive--it goes from extremely slow to a wavery underwater sound very, very quickly.

The biggest problem that I have is that you can't turn off the built- in three-band "Expandatone" equalizer. It has a way of making things sound thin. But it's surprisingly quiet for a vintage pedal (an occasional ticking is all.) You get a great range of sounds, though: the bass, total, and treble tremoloes are all great.

It's survived this long... I'd have no qualms about using it often.

Despite the problematic equalizer, this thing is frighteningly cool. It can create everything from smooth vintage-style tremoloes to piercing treble waves. Plus, I've never seen a cooler- looking pedal, if that matters to you. Hip! If you see it for non- "vintage" prices, like mine, snap it up.
