Like any 12ax7, not problem to install.

I took these out of my Fender Hot Rod Deville today, put in some old 12ax7's I've had laying around for 10 to 15 years (a mixed bag, Hungary, Korea, you name it) and the old tubes I put in are just as noisy as the Groove Tubes, BUT WARMER! Wow, what was Fender thinking using these things? I will be buying Ruby Tubes, JJ's or EH for a more permanent replacement.

They seem to have a long life, but I haven't played out with this amp very much. I'll use the GT's for backups.

As I mentioned before, the GT's will be replaced soon. I think they will make for a good back up.
