Ease of Use : 10
2-knobs, very easy.

Sound Quality : 10
This replaced a BBE Sonic Maximizer rack unit. I like the tone from this better than my 80's BBE rack unit. It provides a great boost for solos, and the exciter makes notes jump out nicely. I prefer this over a treble booster, or clean boost. It also works great when using modulation effects such as chorus and flange, it really emphasizes the swirl.

Reliability : 10
I've had it for a couple years, with no problems.

I love this box box. I recently tried a BBE Sonic Stomp, and didn't like it's tone as well as the Guaytone.

Guyatone got the design right on these little pedals. They don't suck tone, and the jacks are top mounted for easy pedalboard mounting.
