IT's pretty simple to use. The tone knob doesn't seem to do all that much, but it's pretty self explanatory

This is a tough one. The actual tone quality is beautiful, warm, huge speed and intensity variation, very nice. But, it SEVERELY jacks the volume up when engaged. bad enough that I cannot use it live. I'm playing a Les Paul through various amps (boogie, marshall, fender). In the studio, if you're tracking something with tremolo, it's great, but live if you're swtitching back and forth it's practically unusable, at least for me. I am buying a Voodoo Lab.

Live it is useless unless used throughout an entire song because of the sheer volume boost. But the actual tone is great. If you're looking for a single tremolo to use in all situations, this is not it! If you want something in the studio that's going to sound super warm and lush (you can really hear that tube) this is a good one. Just be aware of the volume thing, it isn't nearly as dramatic when you try it in the store as when you're playing full volume.
