Doesn'y get much easier than this, gain and level! Gain from crunch all the way to roar, level boost is a huge range. Top stuff, you could easily train a monkey to use it.

This pedal is simply stand out! I've tried most of the Boss Distortions, Tube distortions, all sorts. I even tried zoom multi effects. Nothing really gave me that high gain sound until i tried this! Even with no tone control it's just perfect, great depth, excellent for leads, metal chords, punk, you name it! So underrated it's a crime, i wouldn't let this go now for any money!
I give it 9 because it probably won't top a Mesa Rectifier, or a dimed Marshall Stack, so it can't really get a 10!

I can't see a problem occurring. It's all metal casing, so it'll survive pretty much anything! I give it 8 cos i've only owned it for 4 months or so and you never know, though it's survived years already with only a few paint chips.

I own a fender twin reverb, and use this pedal for all sorts: punk, metal, grunge, any high gain application. i've aso used lower gain settings for an individually flavoured drive style crunch on some recordings. If it was stolen, i'd cry. Then i'd try my best to find another, but as you never see these for sale anywhere i'd probably hunt the b*****d down and murder him!!!
I've been looking for another for a while as a backup. I think someone somewhere is collecting these, they're definately a sleeper, a futre classic!
If you have a high powered tube amp you may want to look elsewhere as you probably won't need a distortion pedal. but otherwse, definately give it a go for a great, powerfull, high gain sound pretty cheaply!
