Very easy to get a good sound. You would think the tiny switches would be flimsy but they do the gob really well. Maybe not enough parameters though

Great sounding reverb. Sounds much more alive and "real" than the boss rv5s to my ears which can be a little digital. Maybe not as spacey as some can get but it does the job in a small package.

Its small, but unlike dano type pedals its solid metal. I trust it.

A good sounding reverb. Lacks the fancy features of something like the line 6 verbzilla but its cheaper.

Pretty easy. Room-size and intensity controls, plus something called "contrast." Small switches.

I've used it for everything from punk to country to backing up poets to baritone guitar. I don't use it much live, unless I'm playing on an amp with no reverb. (I usually use a Boogie, but for small gigs use a no-name 22-watt tube combo). But otherwise, it's really nice, especially for practice, jamming, and home recording. (For traveling, I bring it and a Danelectro 1-watt baby amp.) It definitely makes the sound bigger, fuller, and spacier. Also, unlike my Alesis Microverb, it doesn't overload under hard & fast Ramones rhythm guitar. It's not a Lexicon, but it's good enough for my 4-track.

Like the other Guyatone pedals, the plastic jacks aren't that solid, and the rubber ring is a pain?especially because this devours batteries almost as much as a Boss digital delay. I don't use it much live, but I've had it for several years with no problem.

I've dealt with them on other pedals, not this one, and they were fine.

For 50 bucks, I couldn't have done better. I own tons of effects, but this is one of the ones I use the most.

Spring reverb is an effect that is limited. It's only designed to give you the ability to determine how much or how little. The Guyatone in this department offers more variety than any spring reverb. More variety means more futzing around.
It is interesting to twiddle with reverb effects that result in a vide variety of results far beyond that of any tank driven reverb.

Never will there be a substitute for gear heads and fender enthusiasts for spring reverb, but this is a very useful toy. The decay is very convincing. It has the ability to replacate the sound of different size rooms. It's a good box, but in the higher price catagory of the guyatone products.

Power adapter is the only way to go. Regardless of home/studio or live, it's not worth having your base player conclude the song alone

I have A/B'd this into a 65 twin reverb as well as a 66 vibrolux reverb, and was startled to find that the guya tone reverb was more expansive, not better but different, and nicely different. I also have used in on a Crate vintage club 20 that does not have onboard reverb. The Crate never sounded better.

Dip-like switches are hard to use on stage. I like long verbs for surf etc. and short for some other stuff.

Great Verb - good as some rack units but....very susceptable to hum.
Odd gating effects in the decay on some settings. Beets the boss pedal hands down for sheer reverb quality.

Eats batteries. hums. but once you fix that where else can you find a clean little box that will do this?

This Reverb has an outstanding quality, however it's not without some very weird quirks. The Pedal is apparently being discontinued due to a patent infringement on the chip that is used. There is no manual in english (although it's pretty straight forward to use. Just plug in and set the type of reverb and go.

I'm using this with a strat and a variety of amps, some with reverb and others with out. I like the guy atone over even my Deluxe Reverbs spring reverb. The problems I see are that the pedal exhibits a lot of "gating noise and hiss. especially when the amp is up 1/3 to halfway. The contrast knob also only works when the battery power dips below 8.5 volts. It will not work when the unit is using a 9V adapter,Bizarre! I'm rating this a 6,however,it's misleading. Great reverb sound (10) horrible noise and lack of contrast. PS this thing devours batteries. 1 hr max

The company Godlyke has been pretty responsive however they can't comment on why the unit acts as it does.

I HAVE MIXED FEEELINGS ON THIS THING . I WANT TO LOVE IT but the quirks are getting to me. You can't find a better sounding reverb in a stomp box, it blows away the Boss RV3. However the noise and lack of presence are disturbing. I'm curious if anyone else has had these problems with this pedal or knows how to resolve them.
