Ease of Use : 9
simply plug your cables in, hit the little power button and go. There are 2 other buttons too, so rocket scientists beware!

Sound Quality : 10
no tone loss at all, great little unit

Reliability : 7
Seems well built, but not as well built as a Boss or Digitech pedal... but it's quite a bit cheaper than that Boss tuner :)

Rock, punk, anything I can sound out!

Very easy to use. Turning the unit on when you plug it in isn't really a detraction for me as it is the reviewer below, its easy enough to push a button. I haven't tried to do anything other than straightforward guitar tuning with this, and its dead simple.

Sound Quality : 10
Doesn't detract at all from the sound of my rig. Ability to cut the signal with the bypass switch is useful.

Reliability : 10
Has been completely relaible now for 8 months or so of near daily use.

Overall no complaints. I wanted to get a tuner, brand new, and this cost less than the boss, has an extra feature or two, and is smaller and easier to carry, taking up less room on the pedalboard as well. The MT-3 is great at what it does, tuning is very accurate, it spells 'hello' when you turn it on.

Nice read-out. Easy to read and very responsive. However, two things kill this pedal for me. 1) You have to hit a switch to turn it on everytime you plug it in and 2) The sound doesn't immediately cut out when you hit the bypass switch, it just kind of fades out quickly after a short pause. Same thing when you deactivate the bypass, the sound kind of fades in.

Sound Quality : 10
It's a tuner so sound quality isn't really an issue, but it's really accurate.

Reliability : 9
It seems pretty rugged.

Haven't had a problem yet.

I bought this pedal because of it's tiny size and big read out. The two problems I mentioned above aren't the end of the world, but if I'd known about them beforehand I'd have stuck with the TU-2. Still, it's a decent little tuner.

Too many options that nobody cares about. I want to plug in and hit the switch, not fiddle with mini buttons every time I power up. Buy a Boss TU-2 and save yourself money and grief.

Sound Quality : 9
I'm a pro player with pro gear and this unit functions if you don't mind the hassle.

Reliability : 5
Flimsy little unit. A rubber gasket holds on the bottom plate. If the rubber goes you are SOL.

This tuner won't be used so it should last forever.

I have been playing since the days 65 Strats went for $125. This unit is small and that is about the best that can be said for it. I collect tuners (probably because they didn't have them when I started playing) and this one is sure to be banished to the bottom of my pedal drawer or sold to some kid who doesn't know any better. It is my least favorite. It works OK is the best that can be said of it. By the way, this is the first negative review I have written.

This pedal tuner has a tiny little on/off switch that must be pressed even when its powered up and you're plugged in. I prefer the Boss TU2 style of just stomping on the pedal to turn it on. Other than that, easy to use, no instructions needed. Seems to be slightly more accurate than the TU2. Easy to read LED's, but this sucker is small, no doubt.

I don't run this tuner in my signal path, so NO COMMENT on it being noisy or not.

Here's where I have a problem with the MT3. At first glance, it looks solid, but after taking it out of the box and handling it for a minute, its kinda fragile feeling. It feels like plastic. The bottom plate attaches via a rubber gasket, no screws. The battery doesn't really fit that tightly either, kinda rattles around in there. I feel skeptical of "stomping" on this pedal. Its a great tuner for sure, but doesn't seem to be road-worthy or built for the long haul.

I like the accuracy of this tuner, better than a Boss TU2 in my opinion. I like the "hello" LED greeting when u turn it on, that was a cool addition. I dislike the build and quality of the actual pedal. The Boss far exceeds in that department. I bought this pedal for a few reasons: got a good deal, heard it was accurate, and it looks cool!!! I'm still deciding whether to keep it or keep my TU2.

Plug it in. Turn it on. Tune. Easy to read LEDs.

Doesn't really apply.

The first one I got stopped working but the the online store I bought it from replaced it. Fortunately I had a backup. I think the first one breaking down was a fluke and I'm not really worried about it happening again. This is a good time to put in a plug for EffectsForLess.com. Ryan is a class act. I have purchased a couple of effects from him and will definitely recommend his store to my fellow musicians.

I asked a friend of mine if he could have his choice of only one pedal, what would it be. He answered, "A pedal tuner." I agree completely. I would not be without one. The Guyatone works great, is easy to use and is pretty inexpensive. The ability to mute this pedal and tune in invaluable. Playing rock and roll, I probably check my tuning every 2 or 3 songs - and it usually needs it. I can't imagine how I got along without this thing.
