Better than the BOSS DM's in my opinion. All you need is ione of these a remote switch and a digital delay for anything really long or pristine.
It's warm and fuzzy and mellow and just about perfect with a good length of delay. I use an external footswitch to switch between the two delay lengths. One long with multiple delays the other as short as it'll go so it'll feedback in a real clangy way.

I use it on my pedal board without a back-up although I do have a digital delay on there is things get really hairy. Having said that, it's lasted around 25 years without being too busted up so it should be alright for my fifteen minutes of vague acknowledgement.

I really like this pedal. I like that it sounds better than both of the DM I've had in the past and because no one knows what it is they ain't gonna nick it like the last DM's I had. I like that it has switchable delay times so I can make weird noises with it as well as usable sweet sounding analogue multi feedback delays.
There is no way I would be able to find another one if it were lost or stolen but I'd keep an eye out.

Hey Y'all, it is an old school 80's Japanese deal. Plug in and play for a few minutes. This thing is called a dual time delay. If you use a footswitch, it supposedly lets you use set two delay times for live gigs. Haven't tried it yet, so. Two knobs for the dual times and repeat and mix levers. Easy-Peasy!

This appears to be a cheap knock-off of a Boss DM-2. It sound o.k., but the delay time is half of the Boss and the Boss signal is a little stronger, but the decal colors are the same. Nifty as it seems, I would go for the Boss, but I am crazy for analogue gear and it came with the box. Hey! I only use a direct line with this to the board so far, so the amp thing, can't tell you. I also do not have a constant a signal chain, 'cause I have more than 40 effects and mix and match them constantly, but overall, it is neat if you can find it, but if you only want one analogue delay, go for the Boss DM-2 (the Dm-3 signal is not as bold, anyway).

So Far, It is o.k. The Delay time is a bit short for my liking, but what can you do. Stick it in front of a longer analogue delay or tape echo for wierdness, or in front of a distortion for some wild vibes.

Well, I have played guitar for a while, since elementary school. I enjoy it alot. I have lived in Japan for three years and Korea for two. About two years ago, I found a tape echo in a junk shop in Japan, and since I liked the old The Verve music (they used tape echoes alot), I talked the owner to letting it go for about 10 bucks. The market for instruments, effects, and the like in Japan is fierce (and expensive), but I can speak Japanese and I figured out where to go (where the collecters don't) and I found 3 tape echoes and over 30 analogue effects and a few Taiwan Boss pedals, and I got them all from free to cheap (my OD-1 was free, as was one of my tape echoes, and my CE-1 was 20 dollars. thank you , Lord). While I sold a few( at a profit, may I add), I spend many hours playing with them and learning the differences in the sounds of various phasers, delays, etc. I love echo and the bunnymen, MBV, Gang of Four, Etc., and creative guitarists who can really play guitar, so my effects are like my guitar (A Fender Japan Jaguar with Dimarzio Humbuckers) a hobby and a passion. I love them (but yes , I do leave my house sometimes). So, this delay is a nice addition to my collection If it was stolen, nobody knows what it is, so maybe no (I have more than 8 delays), but it was a blessing to find, and I had to show it to my poor girlfriend who has no clue about this stuff, but she said "Shiawase mitai'n da yo" (Looks like you found happiness!). I don"t think any effect is bad until you find a way to use it, but if are going to pay premium cash for the vintage stuff, go for the best you can. That's my advice. And chain a long delay and a short delay together, then pick single notes, CREAMY!
