it's a pedal, u gotta play about before u find the right sounds, unless u've used a similar one before... which i hadn't

when u get the right sound, and u have plenty of battery life, it's sounds golden. i'm a big tool fan, and the chorus sounds great for that sort of stuff. however, my friend tried it through his marshall stack (some new thing, dunno what model) and it sounded noisy as hell. could've been just that one, or it could be that it doesn't like high gain amps

it's never stopped working. the one annoying thing is, the input socket is pretty stiff on my one, so u really have to work the lead out

Pretty easy to use. Simple to get any chorus or vibrato sound - just use Rate and Depth control. Flanger is a little tricky since there are Manual and Resonance controls as well. Hard to describe what they do. Manual is kind of a detune and Resonance is how much of a SWOOOSHHH you want.
a three way switch moves between the Chorus, vibrato and flange settings. Battery cover screws in the back. overall, very easy.

I'm using this pedal with several guitars and two amps. Its not noisy at all, very quiet even at extreme settings.
Chorus sound is good. It's no EH Polychorus, but it holds its own. It can go VERY deep and detune a lot if that's what you want. You know, its a chorus. Vibrato is good, but i never use it.
Flange is awesome. with the Manual and Resonance all the way down with Depth about half, you can get this kick ass metallic echoing effect. Sounds almost like a ring modulator. You can get weird buzzes and bell-like clangs with it. Never seen a flanger do that! You can get regular flange settings too. I put it after my Korg distortion and it gets this cool "wishhy" flange sound. if you turn the resonance up it feeds back on itself and goes out of control making this siren-like sound. pretty neat as long as the depth isnt too high. overall, it's good sound for the price.

heavy metal casing - very solid. buttons are plastic, but seem stronger than most boss pedals. Footswitch is the ibanez type and is noiseless and smooth. jacks are solid and noiseless.

i play kind of rock alternative stuff like pearl jam and radiohead, pink floyd, random stuff. all kinds really. been playing 6 years now. if this were lost or stolen I dont think i'd be able to find a replacement since ive never seen this anywhere else except for the small shop i got it at. I think it's from the 80's. it sure looks it. So i doubt i'd be able to find another one. I'd kick the ass of the bastard that stole it since this little buggers quite the workhorse. been with me on many a gig. I'd say it's comparable to a boss-type chorus. pretty good value i'd say. pick one up if you can find it.
