Ease of Use : 10
It's very easy to use. Turn the dials and look for the sound you like

Sound Quality : 8
I was pleasantly surprised by the sound quality. I had very low expectations for this pedal but I was impressed. I plugged in to the DI and it was quite, the bass was clear, and the highs were clean.

Reliability : 9
Absolutely. It???s the only pedal I currently use.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Have not needed to use them.

I play praise and worship music at church. If this pedal were stolen or lost I would maybe use it as an excuse to upgrade to a Fishman Effect pedal. For the price it's an super product.

Ease of Use : 10
Very easy to use. Pretty straight forward, with a 3 band EQ, complete with sweepable mids, effects loop, xlr out, and a cool little tube preamp emulator knob. Just enough of the tube pre knob and it does a nice job of pulling out some of the harsh piezo sounds, and bringing out the nice full acoustic sound I like to hear.

Sound Quality : 9
I use it with a Takamine Santa Fe and a Guild JF30 (made in the USA) with a LR Baggs active Ibeam pickup. Honestly, it sounds great! I also own the LR Baggs Para Acoustic DI, which is about twice the cost of this unit. The LR Baggs is of course, excellent, and more transparent, but I also really like the sound the Hartke provides. The EQ has is a little different, which is helpful in some venues, and, like I said, the tube pre adds it's own little flavor.

Reliability : 9
Very reliable. I have used it in a number of venues. I once had an issue where there was some weird hissing air type sound, so I punched in the -20 db button, and turned the output up to compensate, and... back to normal. It runs on a 9volt battery, or the phantom power from the sound board - which is the route I always take. It also has a boss type power jack if you need to power it that way.

Customer Support : No Opinion
Haven't dealt with them.

I play roots acoustic type music, pretty percussive (as you can tell by the hole I'm digging into the face of the Takamine). I also lead worship at my church - and have traveled a bunch as well, performing and leading worship. I kind of switch between the Hartke and the LR Baggs DI depending on the venue and the sound I want. Bottom line, it is a great value, great sound and solid.
