Ease of Use : 10
This pedal is an MXR that has been modded to an 808 type mod, it has a level and gain control, very easy to use.

Sound Quality : 10
This 808 modded MXR Distortion+ is one of the best sounding tubescreamer-type overdrives that I have ever heard (yes, even better than the TS-9 mod to 808 that some folks do!). This modification is a must have for those looking for a tubescreamer type sound. Wonderful tones with great mids and an equal balance of lows and highs, perfectly pristine sound for what it's supposed to do.

Reliability : 10
Heck yeah, you can rely on the thing and I would gig without a backup...This pedal rocks, sounds wonderful, and is especially good when stacked with other overdrive pedals.

Customer Support : 9
GREAT, Alfonso is the best, period!

Overall Rating : 10
I play anything and everything and have been playing for about five years. I use this pedal for my rock type songs and a Black Fuzz by Nick Greer Exp. Designs (that's me!) for blues, jazz, and as a layered type sound on the rock songs. I own an early Big Muff Pi, Boss Blues Driver, Ibanez TS9 and Ibanez TS9 that was modded to 808, MXR Blue Box, Ibanez Soundtank Powerlead, Nick Greer Exp. Designs Black Fuzz and Sonic Boom and use a Fender Concert II, '69 Fender Pro Reverb, and a Fender Blues Junior all on my gigs. I would definitely buy one again, this is the most magnificent tubescreamer type sound I have ever owned. Alfonso Rocks, now buy the MXR Distortion+, get it modded, and buy one of my pedals too!
