Beautiful sound quality! Authentic sounding spring reverb with a touch of digital artifacts to get it just right. Really smooth sounding -- a convincing tube amp reverb vibe. I like that it is OFF until you bring it up. I use it at about 1/4 up and that adds just the right amount of effect and tail. I listened to it at higher settings and it never gets muddy or washes out but I like enough just to take the edge off a dry sound and not much more.
For me, reverb is the one effect that is almost always ON but up to now, most reverb pedals including the Boss RV5 which this pedal replaced have been underwhelming. I remember getting a Digitech reverb pedal years ago -- made like a tank but sounded metallic and was unusable, The Boss was ok but it tries to do too much including delay. Too much stuff. I just love the simplicity of this pedal.
While the Boss reverb did a decent job on the cleaner sounds, I would turn it off when I kicked on the overdrive as it tended to somewhat muddy up the sound. No need to do that now. I just can't get over how sweet this thing sounds regardless of what mode of playing I'm in. I also like that it has a low profile. Hey, I'm not knocking Boss pedals, I have a ton of them but this reverb pedal wins hands down. And the price is GREAT!
For those that are interested, this pedal is the last one before the amp. Amps are a Sewell 2x12 Texaverb with two 60L's and a custom 50W Tweed with (1x12 & 1x10) with ceramic tone tubbys. Guitars are mostly custom Telecasters and Michael Rowan custom guitars.

It seems to be built rock solid. All pedals on my board are fastened with 3M dual-lock so I don't worry about backups unless one goes down. I've been touring for the last 12 years and never had a pedal go down without some kind of warning like the on / off switch starting to go out.

Have several pedals made by this company going back about 5 years. Amazingly, I still have all of them although both Zen drives had to be replaced when our equipment trailer was stolen a few years ago. Certainly one of the most knowledgeable people in the effects world and a pleasure to deal with. I know Alfonso stands behind everything he sells.

If it were lost or ripped, yeah, I get another one. I did check out some other reverb pedals -- there are a couple of cool looking designs out there but the prices are too high and I wanted simplicity without sacrificing sound. I got it! This is one of the very few times that a really reasonably priced pedal just blows away just about everything out there.
For what's it worth, I usually don't give endless praise for and of these boxes but this one really deserves it. An absolutely great sounding pedal at a amazingly low price for about $100. I'm happy!

The Hermida Audio Products Reverb pedal is extremely simple to use. With line in, line out, one chicken knob for mix control, and red light indicator for on/off, what could be more simple? Simply dial up the mix knob for how wet you want the signal, and away you go. No manual, no need for one.

After having purchased a Dr. Z amp (Z-28 2x10) without reverb, I found myself missing reverb in a short time. I am currently using this pedal with an American Strat and an ES-335 through the Z amp. It is extemely quiet on all settings, with no audible coloration of tone. This pedal sounds amazing alone, or together with my other pedals such as Fulltone OCD, Dunlop Wah, VintageFX Tremolo, or Dunlop Univibe.

Pedal is new, can't comment on dependability, so far has worked perfectly. This manufacturer has an extremely good reputation and I don't expect any trouble.

Have not had to deal with this company as far as repair or upgrade, I can only add that during the purchasing process there was extremely good communication and fast helpful service. I would recommend this company to everyone.

I play mostly blues and classic rock and this pedal works very well with both types of music, and I would also recommend it for clean jazz tones. You can easily dial in vintage sounding reverb tones. If this pedal was stolen, I would absolutely buy another. I have owned many different types of amps over the years, Marshall, Mesa Boogie, etc., and this pedal sounds better than any of the built-in reverbs in those amps. When I was shopping around for a reverb pedal, I listened to Mr. Springgy, Malekko Spring Chicken, Boss FRV-1, Holy Grail among others and found this pedal at $99.00 to be by far the best value. With true bypass, and made in USA, I had high expectations for this pedal (from the maker of Zendrive)and was not disappointed!
