the sound is fantastic. i hate ibanez guitars, but when i was this pedal in the store, i thought what the hell, try it out, as i was going to get a chorus anyways, and i was very very impressed with the sound of this little pedal. and for the price, it can't be beat.

seems reliable. i haven't had to deal with batterys for it cause i use an adapter. but so far, seems as good as your average pedal.

if you see this pedal, play with it. even if you don't need one. because of thw wack'd setting (talk about a stupid name) there's alot more to this pedal than just a chorus/flanger

this pedal is really fun to use with the wack'd mode and is fairly easy to use you just have to play with it a bit because there is such a wide range of sounds on it.

Chorus sounds real good but the flanger sounds like any other flanger ouy there. The wack'd mode is fun and can be useful if you like experimental music.

i play my own stuff which is mainly hard rock similar yo Tool, Black Sabbath, soundgarden etc. and I use the chorus a lot and you can make some some pretty crazy intros with the wack'd mode.

It's extremely easy to use and the manual is one of the best I've seen. It gives you clear instructions as to what everything does and gets you going with some great sounding sample settings that you can use as a basis for getting your own sound.

I'm using on the effects loop of a Mesa Single Recto Solo 50 Head through a Doyle 4x12 with an Ibanez S470. It's totally quiet especially if your running a bit of gain. The effects are raw power, they blast through even the most crushing of Mesa distortion settings without overpowering sparkling clean sections. Both of the effects are equally good as well, neither are just tacked in as a gimick.

It seems dependable enough but it's not a Boss. The pedal switch itself seems a bit flimsier than the boss and pots aren't as tough but then again nothing can ever come close to the boss reliability. It's easy on the batteries too.

I play new metal with the band and blues and other such things at home. I've been playing seven years, I'm 15 years old and I own A Mesa Single Recto Solo 50 head, a Mesa Rect-o-Verb head and three Doyle custom 4x12s. I play two Ibanez Sabres, an S470 and an S1520.
The Wack'D setting is crazy! Sounds come out of it that remind me of a ring modulator and the original setting is perfect. I'd seggest trying the Wack'D setting with Chorus mode, Have Fun

Sounds great, delay knob is a little difficult to set right, but that's probably just my fault. Manual's pretty helpful getting you started but expirementation is ultimate for getting what you want.

I can get about any sound, but the Freak On A Leash (KORN) effect is hard to copy. It's a little plinky sounding on the wack'd mode, but that mode isn't very useful anyhow.

Using Ibanez GAX70 -> Morley PWA Wah (sucks)->MXR DynaComp ->Ibanez TS-7 ->Ibanez CF-7. Chorus effect is fantastic, nice and shimmering very full sounding. Flanger is ok, but to me sounds a little too artificial. Wack'd mode is a little silly not to useful, but there is one wack'd setting with the chorus that can give cool vibrato effect, but that's about it....

Built like a tank however it sucks down batteries with no mercy. I originally returned the first one I bought because I went thru 3 batteries in 4 days and I thought there was something wrong with it. It's just a battery hog. I bought the CF-7, the TS-7 and the Dynacomp all in one shot. The same 9v battery is in the TS-7 and Dynacomp, but like I said I've gone thur at least 6 batteries for the CF-7. I would buy the power supply, but I'm looking to get the Boss tuner that can run as a power brick

The CF-7 is an all-round good pedal, if it was stolen I'd probably just buy seperate chorus and flanger pedals but for the price your almost getting 3 pedals in one

The sound is Great...especially the Flanger. If you like that Jet Plane effect kinda sound, this is the way to go. I run my Kramer Focus thru the Vox wah --> Boss OS-2 --> DOD Grunge --> Ibanez CF-7 --> Fish & Chips EQ to my Vox Cambridge 15. I've had professional guitar players tell me it sounds pretty DAMN good! Still lacking a delay pedal. soon to come

The CF-7 is a pretty cool pedal. It's a Chorus/Flanger pedal for those of you who don't know. The sound is killer. I've just gotten serious about playing guitar again, and I bought the pedal for the Flanger option. But I've fallen in love with the Chorus option a little more, because it gives a really nice full sound. The Flanger option gets a little carried away sometimes if you have your reverb up too much.

I'm using the CF-7 with an Ibanez AX-220 guitar, a Peavy Studio Pro 112 amp, along with a footswitch. The Chorus option is really good on this pedal. It's gives a nice full sound that I really haven't found with other pedals. Now the Flanger option is ok, but get's a little out of control if your reverb is up too much. I like hard styles of rock and alternative. With a clean channel, the pedal set on chorus, and tuned to 'D', I've gotten a lot really cool Nirvana riffs to come out perfect.

Since the CF-7 is digital, it's sucks the little 9 volt battery in it. So I have to use a power adapter. I'll be playing, and the pedal just sucks the life out of the battery. I'd definitely need a back up.

I like playing all types of music. For the erie grunge style, the chorus is totally perfect. I love that type of guitar effect. The Flanger on the other hand, I wasn't completely thrilled about. It is more or less for really f'ed up sounds. And I'm trying to get some seriousness, for once, out of my guitar playing, so it just isn't working for me right now. I'd definitely buy it again if it came up missing. The Chorus option is just really good on this thing.

This pedal kicks ultimate ass! Regardless of what your sound preference is, this pedal can give you what you want. If you want wierd sounds (i.e. Korn or Orgy) or cool chorus or flanging (i.e. Metallica or Alice in Chains) this pedal has it covered.

It is very easy to get good sounds out of the CF-7. I wish that it was in a multi-effects processor or a rack of some sort so I could program it and stuff but just knobs will do I guess. The manual explains the functions well for those who might be new to such things. It has a few settings for you to start off with which is pretty nice.

Hmm I am using many different setups that I really don't care to list. It really isn't noise. The effects tend to sound pretty good and if they don't you should be able to get what you want after a while. It is really easy to get tones like that of Korn,Orgy or other modern rock artists that use more unconventional sounds in their soundscape. The

I play all styles and it basically works for most. Or I use it for most I should say. It works well for me. I have been playing for about 10 years. If it was lost or stolen I would spit in anger then go buy another. I would only buy it again and not get replacement. I compared it to other products such as the boss flanger. this was the one I heard rave reviews by people and it was increadable weak. The CF7 blew it out of the water quality wise. Nothing really can compare with it. I only wish it had higher paramaters but you can't get everything. they are pretty high anyway. IT doesn't get in the way of making music.

I am currently using a Mesa Boogie.....Ibanez 7 string(RG7421)...
No extranious sound at all....sounds EXCELLENT......the cool thing about this specific pedal is that it is a Chorus AND a Flanger...so there are a TON of different unique options. Ibanez has added switches to change it up even more, I have been playing with it for 5 hrs, and still can't get enough

I play many different types of music, my main influence is Trey Anastasio, Korn, Bizkit, etc....(I know two entirely different genres). If it were stolen, I'd replace it QUICK...the thing I like most about it is every little detail Ibanez has made to their new line of pedal. There is a push button on the front that pops open the battery compartment under the switch, there are predrilled holes on the bottom to mount it to a pedal board, and the new MODE and KRAZY switches are unbelievable....no where else but these pedals can you get so many sounds......ITS LIKE BUYING THREE PEDALS FOR THE PRICE OF ONE(Chorus, Flanger, and they supply settings that sound identical to a UniVibe)...I can't wait to get the other 7!!!
