Ease of Use : 10
It's a standard Boss distortion pedal with volume, gain and tone and an optional switch for more or less treble.

Sound Quality : 10
It has a smooth Fender-like clipping style and can get a nice rich Tweed sound and with the optional treble switch can also get some sparkly, trebly Fender-ish tones. The pedal has excellent clarity and the distortion sounds very natural and not too "crisp" like some other BD-2 pedals on the market. I even tried using it as a boost pedal and it added some nice "punch" and clarity to my tube amp's somewhat muddy sounding distortion channel. The high gain settings sound excellent too but with a smoother distortion than most other pedals have. I play a Hamer Strat with middle and neck single coils into a Crate BV-60 tube amp. Haven't noticed any noise but normally play at lower gain settings.

Reliability : No Opinion
Can't really say since I've just had it a week but have never had anything go wrong with any other Boss pedal I've ever owned.

Customer Support : 10
Brian Wampler (IndyGuitarist) seems very friendly and helpful. This is the first pedal I've bought from him but have asked him technical questions in the past about modding my own pedals and he always responded quickly and courteously.

Overall Rating : 10
I've been looking for a pedal like this for years that could give me some different Fender tones but could never find one until Brian came up with the Tweed mod. I had already invested a lot in Marshall-sounding gear and didn't want to buy yet another (Fender) amp. I compared it to the Keeley BD-2 which didn't sound quite as smooth or natural as the Tweed pedal (I have three other Keeley pedals, though, that are excellent). If it were lost or stolen, I would definitely buy another one. I haven't been able to get a bad sound of this pedal.
