Ease of Use : No Opinion
I've modded five of my pedals to indyguitarist specs and started working on this Marshall BB2 that belongs to my bands other guitarist. I also had this pedal before and know what it can or cannot do. The mods in the book are pretty easy to do... but...

IT SUCKS! When I changed elements that the book said will add bottom and bass, the changes made the tone control stop working, it was totally inactive... Yes it was all bass, but no improvement and no tone control... I tought I've maybe dameged something so I've returned all the original values components and the tone control worked again

Feature Set Unchanged from stock BB-2

Several basses w/ active soapbars or active P/J's into EDEN WT330 and Avatar cabs. Had tried several lower-end bass OD pedals and was completely unimpressed. I will never understand how fuzz can be misrepresented as OD. As a converted guitarist, I had this BB2 laying around, and decided to try a mod on it, instead of going the boutique route. Indyguitarist's modification is exactly what I asked for. I wanted the pedal to allow the bass tone to flow clearly and I wanted a smidgeon of tube grit (not fuzz!) This pedal is completely responsive to chord work, and particularly when using a pick, the overdrive mod responds to all the little nuances of your playing. Completely tube-like IMHO. It is also much quieter now.

Reliability : 10
This thing was built solidly at the factory. I doubt that anything Indyguitarist did would change this.

Customer Support : 10
Brian of Indyguitarist emailed me back and forth in a timely and knowledgeable fashion, offering good suggestions and options. If I had a problem with this pedal or wanted it tweaked, I think Brian would respond as quickly after the work as prioir to.

Overall Rating : 10
Indyguitarist took a guitar pedal and turned it into a very good Bass OD. I could've bought a boutique for more money, but after using this modded pedal, I'm glad I trusted Brian to do the mod. The cost of the pedal (bought some years ago) and the mod ($44) is still a lot less coin than a boutique bass OD. It is a vary natural sounding mod. If this got stolen, I'd buy the pedal and immediately ship it to Brian to perform this mod again.
