This is a straight-ahead fuzz box. It has two knobs, an led and the "true-bypass" on/off switch. To use this pedal is self-explanatory(one knob for volume and the other for fuzz gain).

I have turned into a tone freak and own every pedal John makes except a few new ones that are on his drawing board that he might not want me to mention yet. This thing sounds incredible. He will build it either to 60s or 70s specs, or for that matter, however you would like it to sound. I have both Fulltone '69 and '70 pedals, PE Experience, etc. and John's "Fuzz Bomb" blows them all away in tone, top-quality parts and customer service! I own several vintage and boutique pedals and each of John's(Dynamic Overdrive, Mo'D, Fuzz Bomb, Boost and Custom Wah) pedals are far superior to any other ones available on the market(vintage, new or boutique); hands down.....
Last weekend, I used it with my band as we played a version of "Spanish Castle Magic" and I was grinning from "ear to ear" because it sounded like my guitar was about to explode through the speaker of my old Deluxe Reverb and I was in fuzz-heaven....

This pedal is definitely dependable. John makes each one of his pedals and/or amps one by one without anyone's help. They are not made on an assembly line like most of the junk out there.

John has gotten to be a close friend of mine and he is one of the most genuine and knowledgable electronics/tone gurus I have ever met. I can't wait until he finishes making my amplifier to complete my "dream rig".

I am a vintage nut and have several vintage guitars, pedals and amps and the only new equipment I'm using are his pedals and a few boutique ones here and there. My main gigging rig is a '73 50 watt Hiwatt head through an early 70s Hiwatt 4x12 cabinet. For rehearsing, I have a '67 Blackface Fender Deluxe Reverb and use misc. guitars('64 Gibson SG Special, '63 Strat, '58 RI Les Paul, '69 Dan Armstrong, '74 Tele, etc....
