I CAN'T get a good sound out of it, so I can't say it's easy to use. Easy to use means a few twists and tweaks and we got a good sound. This thing... what a waste of money.

I use a Carvin double cutaway, Gibson SG, American Fender Telecaster, and a Mexican Strat, all with various hot humbuckers in the bridge. I split my signal between ADA MP-1 and Carvin Quad-X pre-amps. My effects are in the effects loop of the Quad-X which begins with a Boss LS-2 Line Selector to switch between the sends of the MP-1 and Quad-X, then a few effects which are constantly changing, with the SC-1 last sending a stereo signal back to the Quad-X's effects return. Power amp is a Carvin 2x50w stereo tube amp feeding into a 4x12 with Celestion 70s.
I get a loud POP every time I turn this piece of $hit on, turn a knob, pick it up, sneeze on it, whatever. I could MAYBE live with that IF there was a stereo chorus sound coming out of it, which there isn't. All it does is darken and muddy a very clear, clean, full sound. Easily the weakest link in my effects chain, which it no longer is a part of (I put back my Boss CE-3 chorus, which isn't great but is better).
I think the worst part is that rather than smoothly modulating the sound, it warbles it. For example, I play a note, and rather than just chorusing, it makes the pitch go up and down just a little bit but ABRUPTLY and SHARPLY like a vibrato effect. If I set rate and depth to max settings I get a fast, narrow.

I can rely on it to consistently pop and not sound like a good stereo chorus.

This is very easy to use. It has a really small manual. This has five knobs a high, low, rate depth, and tone.

I give this a 10 due to the fact that with the given controls you can get any possible chorus sounds you caould want. You can get a very warm vintage sound which is what I love and the real seller is that for only $25 I got this pedal off of ebay. Buy One you wont be disatisfied

I dont really know only had it about a month but was told it is made by a smaller branch of boss so it will be reliable, the only thing I dont like is that if tht battery is low at all then it wont work so you have to use a power supply which I do.

Pretty basic controls: Hi EQ,,,Low EQ,,,Level,,,Rate,,,Depth. Not a problem to find a nice chorus sound.

If you are looking for a basic chorus sound with plenty of options, this is it. There is nothing bad that i can say about this pedal. It has a good sound. The rate goes fast enough and slow enough. Depth goes deep enough for a good chorus sound. The EQs are handy if you want to customize your Chorus sound. The Level is always handy as well...Also has a stereo option.
