This is one of the new fuzzes from the Jimi Hendrix effects that he used in his short career, three knobs (volume/fuzz/bias). Very similar to The Gypsy Fuzz, but a little bit fuzzier, has more sustain, when used in conjunction with the third knob (bias) on the side. CCW is more treble and CW more tight base. All knobs at 12, superb fuzz sound, and it cleans extremely well when you roll the guitar volume down.

All I have to say is thanks Kevin for The Fuzz. Works great with single coil pickups, as well as humbuckers. Tube amplifier was the best-obtained sound, but not bad with a solid state, I used a Line 6 DuoVerb that emulates various tube amps. No other effects used with The Fuzz other than analog delay and reverb from the amp. For tube amps I used a Laney VC-15, a Fender Champ 600 (5 watt) and a Mesa Boogie Subway all loaded with EL-34 tubes. Yes even the Fender Champ, I use a THD tube converter.

I obviously play Hendrix/SRV, for about 30 years. I would definitely would try to get another one if it gets damaged or stolen. This pedal gives you the Hendrix sound from the Band of Gypsies tone. I did have the '70 pedal by Fulltone and let me tell you that the Fuzz beats the '70 by 100 miles. It is made with dedication.
