Ease of Use : 9
Gain, bass, mids, treble, volume. It can take a little tweaking to get it perfect, but hell, its a stomp box. How hard could it be?

Sound Quality : 10
This is a great bass overdrive/distortion. It uses an 12ax7 tube. Regardless of valve technology, it just sounds fat. When engaged it doesn't leech the bass sound, or like some bass pedals, replace the instrument's bass with a fake synthish bass sound. In low drive settings it just adds dirty and "chunk" to the sound. Playing a 1st and a 5th sounds huge. With the gain all the way up it sounds pretty distorted. Hard to dsescribe but good!
This pedal does not sound nu metal heavy. It sounds like a good valve bass amp turned up until saturation. Think chunky nick olivari distortion.
Funnily enough it sound bad with regular guitar.

Reliability : 8
Well, I suppose the tube could make it unreliable, but the construction and switch are rock solid. Never had any trouble.

Customer Support : 10
I called them once. Spoke to the designer. Super helpful.

Overall Rating : 9
Great for rock. You could just leave it on the whole time and live happily ever after.
