Tends to pick up interferance from near by transformers and the like - I actually turned the spring tank upside down in mine and fitted some additional internal shielding which helped. Keep it well away from power supplies and mains cables and its fine. Use it live on my bass/cello rig and it sounds fantastic. In the studio it tends to be put on guitar and Organ duties more. You really can't go wrong!

If I got around to cleaning the input sockets, it'd be good as new. It's worth checking the connections onto the spring tank for corrosion though.

N/A I always assume they wouldn't care, but any amp tech. should be able to work on it, so it doesn't really matter.

Sheer Class. My second favourite purchase after the #45 1964 Linear Concord valve amp! Good dependable, great sounding, timeless design, and for this price, not worth digitally modeling. If you see one, BUY IT!!!!!

Laney Sound Supergroup Series Mk 1. From around 1969.Dead easy to use. Stand alone spring reverb unit. Originally used for PA uses so it has 4 inputs with individual volume controls. 1 Master Volume control & 1 Reverb control. On & Off switch.

Typical lush spring reverb. Beats digital hands down. Sounds great with same era Laney valve amps as well as Hiwatt/Roost comination.

Pretty reliable, don't forget it is over 30 years old and still sounding great.

Never needed it as this is in working condition. Could do with a service though. Perhaps I'll contact Laney direct as they are only 20 minutes down the road.

Great for any guitar sound needing reverb. Not so many people use reverb these days but it sounds fantastic. Also use it in my studio along with other spring reverbs, can beat them.
