There is an input and output jack. There is an outlet for using a power adapter instead of a battery and one knob for adjustig the dry and wet mix. Very, very easy to use. The product sheet is not needed.

I play a LP guitar through a chain of pedals into a plexi style non-reverb amp. I placed this pedal at the end of my pedal chain. The pedal adds no noise nor does cause any tone suck. It does not color your tone other than to add a nice spring reverb sound. It does exactly what is claimed and nothing more. I like it most when the mix knob between the noon and 2 position position. I don't find it very effective when the mix knob is before the noon position.

Overall I am very pleased with this pedal. I like the fact that it is a clean and simple design. It's footprint is also a convenient size. I primarily wanted a nice spring reverb tone to use with my non-reverb amp. I considered a number of reverb pedals. Most of the feature packed reverb pedals with various reverb types, decay, mix, and level controls did not impress me. Only one of those appealed to me, but then there was no availability of that pedal. I wasn't interested in waiting 8+ weeks for that one. I want to spend my time playing my guitar and enjoying good tone then spending all my time having to adjust and re-adjust a pedal. The great thing about this pedal is you set it once and then leave it... like having a single reverb knob on the amp. It does one thing and it does it impressively well. If there is one minor gripe I have regarding the pedal it would be with the location of the power outlet which is on the left side very close to the main output jack. The connectors get in the way of each other. It would be nicer to have the power outlet on the top front edge of the pedal like it is on other pedals. Other than that, this pedal is a keeper. I would recommend it to anyone looking for a nice spring reverb pedal.

I was the 2nd to review this padal...but wanted to mention few things again because the thing is really it!See my first review.I will again give it 10 on everything...it has never left my pedal board and is always on regardless of my amp selection(unless I use my 66 pro or 66 super)...but you would not know the diff anyway!

I own several non verb amps and love to have a splash of verb going on...the pedal is just perfect.
I have over the years owned just about amp fender made...liking the BF amps best. AT the time of the review I was without a bf reverb amp but using a 67 bandmaster...missing verb of course...so I bought the pedal.
I am reviewing again because I have had the chance to make a dirrect comparision with two fine sounding Original Blackface amps....it is dead on!
The clips on Lee's site do not lie...I can confirm the same results!

If any one piece of gear I have ever owned truely dones what it's claimed to do....it is this pedal. I am still amazed and am even more impressed sense finally making the comparisons to the sound it claims to copy!
It's on my board and ain't ever comming off period! I have had a few people contact me from my first my review asking...does it really sound that good.....hopefully I have helped sell a few pedals for Lee! I'm sure he's a nice guy and all,but I could only recommend something because it really is GOOD...so I highly recommend this one!

This is one awesome reverb pedal. Here's the signal chain - Jackson Soloist SL1 (with DiMarzio Tone Zone in bridge) or Fender Stratocaster (Eric Clapton Artist Series - Vintage Noiseless PU's), Boss Tuner, Fulltone Fulldrive 2, Ibanez TS808 Reissue, Boss Chorus, Maxon Carbon Copy, Lee Jackson Mr. Springgy, Ernie Ball Volume Pedal into a Marshall 1987X Plexi Reissue (50 Watt head), Marshall 1960BX cabinet with 25 W Celestion Greenbacks. I have tried so many different pedals, and I won't use anything that colors the tone. I compared the Mr. Springgy to the the Holy Grail Plus. NO COMPARISON. The Holy Grail sounded digital and harsh. The Mr. Springgy sounds warm, clear and like a true spring reverb unit.
The only downside is that you can't dial in the things like decay rate or get other reverb sounds (like hall). But, the reverb is so good, that if you need spring reverb in a pedal because you have a really good head that doesn't have it and you don't want something that colors your tone, then this is the pedal for you.

I have emailed Lee with several questions, some related to the pedal and some related to Marshall mods. He is a wonderful guy, responsive to email (always within a day) and very helpful. His Ebay store was so easy to buy from and he left positive feedback for a smooth transaction. I'm very impressed with his customer service.

It doesn't get any easier than this. One knob and that's it. Easy to control. Lee's instruction manual is easy to understand. Dual outputs if you're fortunate to have two amps where you can run one wet and one dry.

Here's the set-up in order of the signal path: Jackson Soloist SL-1 with DiMarzio Tone Zone in the bridge or a Fender Eric Clapton Stratocaster - Boss Tuner, Boss GE-7 (Monte Allums Mod installed by Chad Matthews), Ibanez Tubescreamer TS808 Reissue, Boss SD-1, Boss CH-3, MXR Carbon Copy, Lee Jackson's Mr. Springgy into an Ernie Ball Volume Pedal - Marshall 1987XL Plexi Reissue (stock) 1960BX cabinet with 25W Greenbacks.
I am very particular about two things - pedals that negatively affect tone (on or off) and noisy pedals. I made direct comparisons between Mr. Springgy and the Holy Grail Plus. The Holy Grail colored the tone, sounded more digital and was noisier (but not terribly noisy). It tried the Boss digital reverb pedal at the Guitar Center and yes, it is digital.
Mr. Springgy does not color the tone, is quiet as a church mouse and is the most authentic sounding spring reverb in a pedal that I have ever heard. You can't set your decay rate, but don't worry, it's already perfect. No frills, no hall or other reverb types, but man, did Lee nail it!!
If you have a good head with no reverb and all you need is a spring reverb that won't color your tone, add noise and make your sound come alive, get one of these.

This is built like a tank. I took the plastic feet off the bottom to mount it in the pedal board. The sticker may come off some day, but that's okay, I won't forget it's a Mr. Springgy and I'm not selling it.

I've been playing classic rock and contemporary Christian music for 32 years now and besides playing at our church, I spend some time on personal recording projects. If it were stolen, I'd pray for the person who needed it so badly that he had resort to criminal activity and then I'd immediately purchase another (although it would be tempting to find the thief and, well you know......)! :-)
Great product Lee! Keep up the good work!!

I was trying to recreate the sound of the reverb on my 1965 Fender Princeton Reverb on a 1966 Princeton (no reverb). Comes as close as I have ever heard. Was using the T-rex Room Mate Tube reverb pedal, which is pretty good. This is better and was about $50 less.
Quiet as not even being there. Does not color the sound as far as I can tell. Very close to the real deal!

Very nice reverb. Used with Taylor 412, Carvin LB 40 bass, Shure SM58 mic for vocals. I use this primarily for live gig vocals since the reverb in my Carvin X-Amp is just fine. Mr Springgy is not noisy, unless the battery gets low. Once you hear Mr Springgy squeal you will get an adaptor. The instructions make this clear.

I've been singing and playing rock guitar for 40 years. I've wanted a good 1-knob reverb even though my amps have built in reverb. I like Mr Springgy on vocals because I can adjust it so easily. I'm not interested in room/hall/plate/cathedral/bat cave settings- just good simple reverb It sounds great with my Taylor and Carvin bass also.
There is an internal trim pot for more/less reverb in the mix. If I had designed it the pot would adjust dwell. I'd also prefer the second output to be wet also, or switchable at least.
The manual says Mr Springgy does not like a low battery and will squeal when low. This happened at practise, and it was quite a squeal! I'll use a battery adaptor now, like I do at all my gigs.
I think it is worth the $200 I paid for it.

Very, very transparent!!!! The best verb pedal I tried so far! For it is as good as my old fender 63 re Reverb unit but without the weight, the tube changing, the need of ac power... Go from subtle to full of reverb, very musical, inspiring... No good if you're looking for hall reverb and rack like reverb sound, but it's not the purpose of this pedal. I play funk, blues, rock and metal, fit all these style with my guitar playing. Great for slide guitar too!

Great reliability for now, very well built... My only black point is cosmetic , the top inscriptions are just on a poor sticker that will probably goes off in a couple year... The rubber under the pedal look cheap too, they will probably unstick one day... That's why I don't give a 10...

Great! I'll probably go with their Vibrator pedal... When you start to use pedal like these (Springgy, Vibrator, Memory Lane from Diamond), you don't want to go back to mass production pedal, they sound so amazing!! I play for 15 years, lot of style, I don't like pedal that modify my giutar sound. This pedal is at the end of my effect chain, in the effect loop of my Bogner XTC... Only good stuff in the sound chain, I just need to sharp my finger now!
