Ease of Use

Firts of all I don't work for Lehle, a competitor, or guitar center. I'm just an average dude giving my opinion. This is for the red Little Dual A/B swticher. It can be used in numerous ways. One guitar to two amps. Two guitars to one amp. One guitar and amp to a tuner, and so forth. I'm sure all kinds of fx loop swtiching could be acheived as well. I use this switch between my Marshall and Roland JC-120 amps. Simple to use, plug a guitar to A/B input, then connect each amp to outputs A & B. Step on the right button to switch between amps or the left to run both at once.

This pedal took a little getting used to. Most A/B switchers change channels when you step down on the button, for either channel. This is only half true for this pedal. The first time you step down it changes, but to change back it works on the up release. You have to step on the pedal and when you release your foot is when the change occurs. This doesn't work so well for me. I sing lead vocal and play lead guitar, so I don't have time for complex pedal changes. I just want to touch and go. It's also not a quiet as other reviews state. I hear some switching noise.

I've only had it for two weeks. But labored long hours trying to decide on an amp switcher. I considered the Framptone (pricey)and the Radial Tonebone (no LED's), but decided on the Lehle because of it's design. The concept here is since the channels are completly isolated from each other, a ground loop cannot occur. Although, I've played in some really crappy bars with really crappy wiring, so we'll see.

So far this pedal does as advertised. A simple solid well built switcher with no ground loop issues. However, the up stoke release thing is a bit iffy. I just want push and switch, then push and switch again. Not push, release, and switch. Since I spent 200 bux on it, I'm gonna keep it. But it'll taking some getting used to in a live situation.
