Very easy to use. You plug it in and split to your amps(s). It may take a few minuets to descide which output to plug into which amp.

It using this with emg active pickups to 2 mesa boogie v twin preamps to a vht power amp. I have tried for years trying to solve this ground isolation issue. I have tried everything for splitting from y cords, to the morley stuff , to different setups with gcx and patchmate switchers, combinations of hum eliminators , whirlwind splitters, literally everything I could try until I ran out of stuff to even try and just settled with it and dealt with it. This P-Split is the ONLY splitter box that will do anything for you and not change or alter the tone. It truly is the best splitter out there and is very high quality. Also, not only does it not change or mess with the tone, but also reacts dynamically as you could expect from plugging directly in. The transformer in there is truly a work of genuis. I plan to buy more lehle products like the d-loop also. Thank you very much for this and Do not change anything except maybe making it have 2 isolated outputs instead of 1.

It won't break unless you open it up and try to break it, or maybe it falls into water or something. It is built better than I could have wanted. Do not change this Lehle, keep doing things like you are and you will become a world famous competitor.

I emailed Lehle a few times before I bought this and also about the d-loop. the responce was nice and to the point and no BS involved, and it was in a timely manner. I think It took a day or 2 to respond, which is more than acceptable for a non megacorp. A down to earth common sense guy. thanks !

Thats everything , I don't write reviews, but this product is well worth the money and I have to let others know about this that are having the same problems I had with noisy splitting. Do not even try anything else. I swear, this is the splitter you want. all the other alther the tone and are not built as well, and the customer service is not as good. The price in these has almost doubled and its still worth it.

It is completley passive (no batteries) has 1 in and 2 outs. A button for 180 phase shift if your 2 amps are out of phase and thank you oo soo much Burkhard Georg Lehle, FOR THE GROUND LIFT BUTTON!
Very easy to use...no knobs to tweak

I am running guitar-wah-delay-phaser-to STEREO chorus with ONE of the Stereo outs going to the IN of the P-split...and then only ONE out of P-split to AMP head A and the other stereo out (the one NOT going to the P-split) Goes to AMP B
I am basically using it to ground lift and thats it. Although I did run it Guitar-P split- to both amps..just to to check
I couldn't notice ANY sound alteration...then again, it's not a processor...just a splitter/ground lift

It's a very small 'pedal' and it's WAAAAAAAAY heavier than it looks. It MUST be used Everytime I play with 2 amplifiers...gig or not.
Lehle's website has a video of a car driving over it. I believe it now.
It's made out of thick metal...this guy wasn't messing around

I had questions about it before I bought it, so I went to his website and emailed support...less than 5 hours later (keep in mind I'm emailing Germany from the U.S. in the middle of Germany's night) Burkhard Georg Lehle HIMSELF emails me back and spoke very good English...I had 2 seperate emails to him and both were replied to in one day....THIS ALONE is why I bought this 'pedal' was he passed my pre-support test. I like testing companies BEFORE I buy from them if at all possible- just in case I really need them later and Lehle passes with flying colors

My tone demands that both my heads be on AT the same time, together..and therefore when you split your guitar signal and there are two grounds involved, I, like most others, was getting and INSANE ground loop. I mean it was overpoweringly loud depending where I was plugged into...to the point of me turning OFF my distortion DURING some riffs if there was enough time- because if there was a rest where I'm not playing for 1/3 of a second, and I was in a high gain situation...all you could hear is that 60 cycle BFVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV sound..I hated it...
I've been playing 21 years but just added the 2nd amp at the same time last year and it was driving me crazy. I hate electricty everybody and their mom had some way of getting rid of the loop...It got to the point where I said 'screw it' I'll pay $179 to this guy in Germany....it better friggin work..
And it does..problem SOLVED..so happy right now i actually wrote a review.
Theres a button that lets you put the ground back in..BFVVVVVVVVVVVV lol How I survied the last year without the P-split, I'll never know
This isn't a noise suppressor and I don't 'Kinda still hear the loop' It lifts it and its gone...simple- perfect
And yes I'm giving this perfect 10's all the way across because this isn't an effect that would be subject to personal tastes...It splits your signal and you can run 2 amps AT THE SAME TIME...without the 60 Cycle Hell I was in and it's made out of real thick metal
Its more of a pass/fail situation not a 1-10 rating so this guy gets all 10's

The Lehle P-Split is a passive signal splitter using a high-end transformer for low impedance guitar signals. It sports a nice, compact design and one input, two outputs (one running through a high quality transformer that was especially developed for this purpose!), a ground lift and a phase switch (two very important features).

Driving two amps simultaneously, different effects chains or recording paths - there are several applications for the P-Split that I could not never make work with low impedance signals until now. The sound quality of the Lehle transformer is simply stunning and absolutely convincing!!

Burkhard Lehle answeres email promptly. His manuals semm to be targeted at more tech-minded players but he is willing to talk shop on the phone and has hands-on experience with the stuff he made that he is willing to share.

Great little box. Just for the task of developing his own high quality transformer Lehle deserves the highest recognition.
