I just purchased this unit even though they have bee around for ages now. I found it easy to use, and is built very well.

I personall feel the factory settings are to glassy. However with a bit of tweaking I have created some fantastic sounds. I use a fender pro reverb and an old marshall mosfet rig. It depends how I,m feeling on the day to which one I will use. The AM4 works well through both but I prefer the fender overall as a combination. If you cant make this unit sound good you're doing something wrong I now have an even better clean sound using the blackface 212 patch and I have tweaked the insane patch for solo's, its amazing. Still working on crunch etc, but loving it.

I'm in a covers band doing loads of classic songs, this unit will be really useful. I have been playing for over 20yrs and had lots of amps and guitars (mainly Marshall Amps) I currently play a USA Standard Strat (15yrs old) and a PRS 22 custom, I'm looking forward to my next gig with the AM4 at my feet.
