Outstanding! I didn't use this much (see below), but now I use it all the time. It's up there with the Boss DM-2 & DM-3 and better than the old Ibanez AD9. What makes it remarkable is that it's got an extra 100ms of delay on those pedals. It's got clear, warm delays that are not too dark, just right in fact.
I use this on keyboards and guitar and it works well on both.

Here's where it comes a cropper. Not too long after I got it I was getting huge 'glitchy' noises from the output jack. It was so bad I was worried I could blow a speaker. Apparently this is a common problem with this line. Washburn, among others, released pedals from the same manufacturer - in fact I have a Washburn chorus that looks similar, sounds great and is holding out very well.
I had a friend re-house it in a Hammond box. He said it wasn't an easy job but now it's trouble-free.

I play blues, soul, funk and jazz. I'm starting to get back into analog synths, or approximations thereof, and this pedal is a godsend for that. I'm giving it an 8 overall because you'll need to find someone with the patience and expertise to re-house it if you can't do it yourself. If you find one and the jacks don't crap out - snap it up but test it thoroughly. I'll just say that with the re-housing this is my favorite 'basic' analogue delay - and I have a few!

Used with my Tele, vantage and Yamaha SE350. Plugged into my Marshall 5212. Quiet. Ace for Kiss and early U2 stuff.
I've rated it high as we have to consider the use of 'bucket brigade technology'!!

My mum bought this for me in 1982, for AUS $69.00.
I still record with it today.
Gig? No backup?,....sure!!

Playing since late 70's (wot do you care?).
If my LocoBox Delay was stolen,I'd like to replace it...but not with the early Boss equivalent.
NOTE#### This Pedal lends itself very well to mods. One small turn of an internal pot will see this pedal's delay go from apprx 300ms to well over 500ms delay!!! I've run this mod (along with another hi-frequency mod (another turn of a pot))for well over 12 of it's 24 years!! No problems!! Contact me for details or open her up yourself!! Simple!!

very good and warm. it's dead quite! surprising, since it's analog. I don't think it has true bypass, but it's quite alright, as there's not a lot of tone-loss. I would go as far as to say it even sounds nice, kinda like a nice coloration ;) I think all in all, it's a great delay pedal.

this thing must be 15-20 years old, and it's still working great for me! (tho I bought mine used only about a year ago). I'd definitely gig with it. it's made of thick metal, even the switch. I think it can handle a fair amount of abuse.

have no idea. this thing's too old to expect any kind of service or warrenty from Locobox (do they still exist???)

I think it's a fantastic analog delay. analog= warm sounding= good!:) it's also incredibly quiet! the delay time is quite long (well, it is analog after all, so don't expect a 10 minutes delay or something;))- you can beef up your sound but also make complex soundscapes. there are so many "hyped" analog delay that cost a small fortune out there, but for some reason this one is still unfamiliar. if you ever find it (I think it's pretty rare! must be coz all the owners of it are reluctant to sell it!:)), definitely buy it!
