I'm using Fender USA Stratocaster ('93) and WEM-Watkins 15W all-tube amp from early 70's. The pedal is great. I never used compressors because, I bought his one because of how it looks (GREAT!). I also tested it with e.x. Ibanez Compressor and it is better. The knobs are easy to use, they do not produce any unwanted sounds when touched. Jyst great. And it looks so cool, deep-yellow ("Yellow Bahama" I suppose:) colour, black fonts.... one nice, red LED, two black-plastic knobs and one metal (oldstyle) switch. It's probably from 80's I think, but i can't say that's 100% true. Sound is great, and it's totally normal that in the higher setting you can hear buzzing and the amp gets very noisy. It is normal for compressors!

I play something like Weezer (it's like new rock and roll/american punk rock mixed with good rock). And it's great for solos, because it gives you incredible sustain! I just want to tell you that I give overall "9" points of 10 possible because I've dreamt of that effect with just one more knob: the "Attack" one. I suppose this effect has built constant compression about 4:1 or 5:1 or smth like that. And i can't change it. In many compressors there's a function called "Attack" and its a thing wchich i can control this and that ;)
